The Batman star Zoë Kravitz revealed in a recent interview that she saw her character of Catwoman/Selina Kyle as bisexual in the Matt Reeves film. Pedestrian further shared a separate interview with director Reeves, who said that The Batman is “very true to the character of Selina Kyle.” The filmmaker continued, “She’s not yet Catwoman, but all the elements of how she’s going to become Catwoman are there.” He added, “And in terms of her relationship with Anika, I spoke to Zoë very early on and on...

Editor’s Note: The list contained in this article will be updated as more events are announced. Veteran screenwriter Mitch Glazer hit the nail on the head when he called Miami a “storytelling engine.” But in the throes of a relentless pandemic, the only stories coming out of the city were ones of the horror variety. With the pandemic in Miami’s rearview, this year’s gathering has the feel of something special. Hedonism be damned, fans from all over the world are planning to descend on the city for a week of uncaged raving. The Magic City is going to be a no-holds-barred electronic music utopia. San Francisco Bay Area metallers TESTAMENT have announced the return of drummer Dave Lombardo to the group’s ranks. An original member of thrash metal legends SLAYER, Lombardo was the guest drummer on TESTAMENT‘s 1999 studio album “The Gathering”, which also marked the first time the band worked with then-up-and-coming British producer/engineer Andy Sneap. “The Gathering” was widely considered to be an improvement over 1997’s “Demonic”, an album that saw singer Chuck Billy employ a more guttural style of vocals and was released at a time when thrash acts as TESTAMENT had fallen out of favor. Billy comments: “I’ll state the obvious, We are more than overwhelmed to welcome back Dave Lombardo to play drums with TESTAMENT. We ar...
Former VENOM and current VENOM INC. guitarist Jeff “Mantas” Dunn says that he would love to reunite the classic VENOM lineup to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band’s “Black Metal” album. Released in 1982, “Black Metal” is considered a major influence on thrash metal and extreme metal in general. VENOM‘s second album proved influential enough that its title was used as the name of the extreme metal subgenre of black metal. The band classic lineup trio of Dunn, vocalist/bassist Conrad “Cronos” Lant and drummer Anthony “Abaddon” Bray recorded two further studio LPs, “At War With Satan” (1984) and “Possessed” (1985), and live album, “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” (1986). In a new interview with the “Drum Candy” podcast, KORN drummer Ray Luzier explained his decision to relocate his family to Franklin, Tennessee nearly a decade ago. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “I moved [to the Nashville area] — June, it’ll be eight years here, which is nuts, ’cause I’m still in a band based in Bakersfield, California. I always joke with people, ‘I have a two-thousand-mile commute to work.’ “When Head [KORN guitarist Brian Welch] rejoined the band in 2013, I said to him first thing, ’cause he lived out here [in Nashville], and I said, ‘When are you gonna move back to Cali?’ And he said, ‘I’ll never live in L.A.’ And I said, ‘How are you gonna be in the band?̵...
