Coheed and Cambria Announce Summer 2022 North American Tour, Unveil “The Liars Club” Single: Stream
Coheed and Cambria have announced a Summer 2022 North American headlining tour, with support from Dance Gavin Dance and Mothica. The band has also unleashed “The Liars Club” as the latest single from their forthcoming album, Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind, out May 27th. The new tour announcement comes in the midst of Coheed and Cambria’s previously announced winter “Great Destroyer Tour,” which continues tonight (February 22nd) in Oklahoma City. The newly unveiled summer outing, which will see Coheed playing large-scale amphitheaters and arenas, has been dubbed “A Window of a Waking Mind Tour.” That one kicks off July 12th in Miami, Florida, and runs through an August 17th show in Troutdale, Oregon. Smashing Pumpkins Announce “Rock Invasion 2” Tour Dates
The Smashing Pumpkins have announced 2022 dates for their “Rock Invasion 2 Tour.” Though the tour shares the same name as the band’s postponed 2020 trek, many of the original dates have not been rescheduled. Instead, the Pumpkins will play shows in cities such as Tucson, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Birmingham, Greensboro, and Columbus over the course of the 18-date jaunt. They’re also scheduled to play Memphis’ Beale Street Music Festival and Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida. Duff McKagan Joins Eddie Vedder and the Earthlings to Perform The Pretenders’ ‘Precious’ in Seattle
Eddie Vedder’s Earthlings resumed their tour last night at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall after a brief pause due to someone contracting COVID. Regina Spektor Announces Eighth Studio Album, Unveils ‘Becoming All Alone’
Regina Spektor is set to release her eighth studio album, Home, before and after, and she released its first single “Becoming All Alone,” today. This is Spektor’s first new album since 2016. Recorded in upstate New York, Spektor’s newest work is out June 24 via Warner Records and says that it is the “most quintessentially ‘New York’” record she has made in years. Lil Durk has dropped his latest single, “AHHH HA,” from his forthcoming album 7220, along with an accompanying music video. Durk took to social media on Monday evening to share the visual with fans, while also revealing 7220‘s album artwork and a new release date of March 11. The Smashing Pumpkins Announce 11-Date U.S. Tour
Forewarning, The Smashing Pumpkins are set to take over the U.S. The band just announced the latest edition of their Rock Invasion Tour. The 11-date stint kicks off on May 2 in San Antonio, Texas, and closes May 28 in Columbus, Ohio. The tour’s supporting act is Bones, yet a special guest for their San Antonio performance has yet to be announced. All tour information can be found on the band’s website.
