The Looney Tunes live-action animated hybrid movie renaissance is continuing with Warner Bros.’ upcoming Wile E. Coyote film Coyote vs. Acme, and the picture just found its star in John Cena. According to Deadline, Coyote vs. Acme sees Wile E. Coyote decide to sue the ACME Corporation when he finally grows tired of his failed attempts at catching the Roadrunner. The coyote hires a billboard lawyer, but the lawyer’s former boss (Cena) throws a wrench in his quest for justice. Kid Cudi has launched his interactive live performance app Encore. Working alongside CEO Jonathan Gray and President Ian Edelman, Kid Cudi serves as the Chief Creative Officer for the app, which bills itself as a “music-first creator platform.” Encore allows artists to release new music, interact with fans and host live shows right from phones. In turn, fans can attend virtual performances and interact with their favorite artists and fellow fans. A Quiet Place III is in the works with an anticipated release scheduled for 2025, John Krasinski shared during Paramount’s investor day on Tuesday. The first film in the series premiered in 2018, starring Krasinski alongside his wife, actress Emily Blunt. The franchise follows a family fighting to survive in a world invaded by aliens who hunt by sound. It was succeeded by A Quiet Place II in May 2021, in which Krasinski had a cameo role.
