In a statement to Pitchfork, police confirmed that a fight broke out on the street outside the afterparty venue at 2:45 a.m. local time this morning (February 12). The victims—a 19-year-old man, a 60-year-old man, and a 24-year-old man—were hospitalized after being hit by bullets and are currently in stable condition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Kingsley Ben-Adir has been cast in Paramount Pictures’ upcoming Bob Marley biopic, Deadline reports. Ben-Adir will play the Jamaican reggae legend in a film directed by King Richard’s Reinaldo Marcus Green. Deadline also states that Ziggy Marley, Rita Marley, Cedella Marley, and Robert Teitel will serve as producers. Ben-Adir has previously appeared in The OA, Peaky Blinders, and as Malcolm X in One Night in Miami. Bob Marley died from cancer in 1981 at 36 years old. Kodak Black and two other people were shot following an altercation outside a Justin Bieber after party at The Nice Guy club in Los Angeles. As TMZ reports, the rapper was standing outside with fellow hip-hop artists Gunna and DaBaby, as well as other friends, when a fight broke out on the street that involved Kodak’s crew. The 24-year-old jumped in to help one of his guys and took a swing at the assailant. That’s when a gunman open fired. Local authorities say 10 shots were fired total. Kodak was hit in the leg by a bullet, and two other people, ages 19 and 60, were also shot. A fourth victim was injured in another way.
