Nintendo has released the official announcement trailer for Mario Strikers: Battle League, set to arrive this summer on the Switch. The Mario Strikers soccer series was first introduced on GameCube back in 2005 and was last seen as Mario Strikers Charged in 2007 on Wii. In the upcoming Battle League game, players can choose their favorite characters from the Mario universe to compete in 5v5 matches featuring skill shots dubbed “Hyper Strikes,” special items, and tackles. Similar to Mario Kart, the gear chosen will affect in-game performance.
