Moderat, the collaborative electronic group by Apparat and Modeselektor, have announced their first new album in six years. It’s titled More D4ta and it’s due out May 13 via Monkeytown Records. More D4ta is Moderat’s fourth album and the follow-up to 2016’s III. Spanning 10 tracks in total, the new LP finds the band wrestling with the feelings of isolation that followed their decision to take a hiatus in 2017. This new album marks the first time Apparat and Modeselektor have performed together since their 2016 tour in support of III. They commemorated those shows with a special live album—the first-ever of their career—that was recorded at Berlin’s Velodrome and featured a career-spanning setlist.
Peep’s European tour manager, Stephen Paul, worked alongside Mercer. Later in September 2017, according to the texts, Quin and Mercer disparaged Paul’s fitness for the job. Quin also intimated that Paul got the position only because he was the cousin of “someone very important at FAE.” Quin wrote, “Honestly this is so first access.” In another apparent reference to Stennett, the CEO, Quin wrote that “Sarah” was “up at 4am screaming down the phone” due to her “poor” staffing. Several hours after Mercer’s detention at the Canadian border, she apologized to her colleagues. “Bottom line is that I am so sorry and embarrassed about it all,” Mercer wrote in a WhatsApp message. “It was a huge mistake and will never happen again.” She did not elaborate on the nature of the mistake. Mercer, in her S...

My guardian angel. There will never be another one like him.” “I always knew this day would come, but I hoped it never would,” Cosentino wrote in an Instagram post with multiple photos and videos. “He was not just my cat. He belonged to all of you. He was the third member of this band. Our mascot. Our cover star. Our merch king. He meant everything to me and I’m going to miss him so much, but I know he will live on forever by way of the legacy he created simply by being himself. He loved you all so much and he knew you loved him. 14 wonderful years. I’m so honored that I got to be hi...

The forthcoming PlayStation 5 update will include voice command controls. They can use their voice to control other media aspects such as playback. In addition to voice command, Sony will be introducing new tools such as voice chats called parties, which are essentially group chats that can be made either available to join via invitation-only or open to the public.
