LAST IN LINE Signs With earMUSIC; New EP, Full-Length Album In The Works
LAST IN LINE has inked a deal with earMUSIC, the recorded music label of German entertainment group Edel AG which boasts a roster of global artists including DEEP PURPLE, Alice Cooper, BABYMETAL, THUNDER, STATUS QUO and many more. A new EP from LAST IN LINE will tentatively arrive later this year, following by the band’s third full-length album. The news of LAST IN LINE‘s partnership with earMUSIC was shared by the band’s drummer, Vinny Appice, during a recent appearance on “Waste Some Time With Jason Green”. TRIVIUM frontman Matt Heafy spoke to Tucson, Arizona’s Rock 102.1 KFMA radio station about the overwhelming success of his Twitch channel, which boasts a follower count of 238,000. Kanye West’s Live Album ‘Late Orchestration’ Arrives on Streaming
Ye’s Late Orchestration album has made it to streaming services 16 years after its initial release. Recorded in 2006, the live album features renditions of tracks from his first two full-length releases, 2004’s The College Dropout and 2005’s Late Registration. For the performance, West’s rapping was backed by a seventeen-member all-female string orchestra. He tapped John Legend, Lupe Fiasco, GLC and Consequence as guest artists. The project was previously only available in the form of a CD or DVD. The CD contained 12 singles, along with a live bonus recording of “Gold Digger.” The DVD, meanwhile, packed in concert footage, interviews and exclusive music videos for the first four singles off of Late Registration. Over the past few years, Death Row Records has had some curious owners (to put it mildly). Now, the label is coming home (sort of). Snoop Dogg has agreed to a deal with MNRK Music Group, which is owned by private equity fund Blackstone, to become the new owner of the label where he got his start. The terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, but a person familiar with the situation tells SPIN that it is expected to include the label’s catalog.
