After closing the book on a breakthrough 2021, Rich DietZ have kicked off the year with a brand new single called “Work Song.” In typical Rich DietZ fashion, the track is a house music stroke of genius. Arriving ahead of the spring season, “Work Song” isn’t a breezy poolside track, but a banger designed to induce noodle-flailing pool riots. Cover art for Rich DietZ’s new single, “Work Song.” One of the more coveted unreleased tunes from their repertoire, “Work Song” interlaces hip-hop-inspired samples in its arrangement, which beautifully blends elements of tech and G-House. Rich DietZ first debuted the single last year at EDC Week in Las Vegas, where they dropped it during a rip-roaring performance at Élia Beach Club cl...

Threatening to “cancel” Leatherface hardly seems like a wise move, but that’s one influencer’s approach when facing off against the iconic serial killer in Netflix’s new trailer for Texas Chainsaw Massacre. “Try anything and you’re canceled, bro,” the influencer says to Leatherface, while recording the short-lived showdown on his phone. Undeterred, the mass murderer revs up his signature chainsaw and takes out each person on the party bus one by one. The 2022 Texas Chainsaw Massacre marks the direct sequel to the original 1974 horror classic and centers around the idea of young people revitalizing a ghost town in Texas. Naturally, bratty teens along for the ride aren’t happy about the idea in the first place, and their hesitance is proven to be right when a certain chainsaw-wielding m...

It had less than 100 users per day on November 1st, but by the middle of the month that number had ballooned to over 300,000. Nirvana has filed another motion to dismiss in their ongoing legal dispute with Spencer Elden, who is accusing them of sexually exploitive imagery on the Nevermind cover. In the filing obtained by SPIN, Nirvana’s counsel makes their stance clear: “This case must end.” Nirvana is asking the court “for an order dismissing this action, with prejudice” and, once again, “on the ground that it is barred by the statute of limitations.” Based on Elden’s allegations, Nirvana says that “no amendment is possible to salvage the claim.” Continuing, the motion says “In his ever-shrinking pleading, Elden has now dismissed all but one of the myriad state- and federal-law claims he previously attempted to charge against Defendants.” It also said that the 10-year statute doesn’t cover when Elden was a minor...
