It’s officially time to talk about Bruno. The Encanto song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” has risen to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, unseating Adele’s “Easy on Me” after the latter spent 10 weeks atop the chart. According to Billboard, “Bruno” is only the second No. 1 from a Disney animated film and follows Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle’s iconic Aladdin theme “A Whole New World,” which topped the chart in 1993. The song’s sole writer, Hamilton mastermind Lin-Manuel Miranda, also scores his first No. 1 hit. Stream the track below. Credited to an ensemble of Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero, Stephanie Beatriz, and the Encanto cast, “Bruno” sets a record for the most credited recording artists for a No. 1 hit on the Hot 100. Notably, the star-stud...
Machine Gun Kelly owes Travis Barker a beer, a couple hundred bucks, and ideally, some new skin. Six months after the singer and his producer got the name of Kelly’s upcoming album, born with horns, in matching tattoos on their arms, Kelly has changed the title. MGK made the switch in a social media video seated alongside an unwitting Barker. “OK, we’re friends no matter what, right?” he asked the legendary drummer. “Remember when we got the new album name tattooed on our arms?” Barker keeled over in his chair, letting out a sound like air escaping from a balloon. “You changed –” he began, before Kelly slapped him on the back and confirmed his suspicion: “I’m changing the album name.” Advertisement Related Video The collection of songs is now titled MAINSTREAM SELLOUT&n...

Flume has announced the release date of “Say Nothing,” a brand new original track featuring vocals from Australian compatriot MAY-A. Due out this Wednesday, February 2nd, the song will arrive alongside an eerie music video and a live Q&A session with Flume. There’s no doubt that a hot topic will be his highly anticipated upcoming studio album, which will be his first since 2016’s critically acclaimed Skin. The virtuosic dance music producer has sporadically teased the project since late 2019, when he told Billboard he was “on a mission” to finish it after releasing March’s Hi This Is Flume tape. Flume confirmed the album in a 2020 radio interview and went on to unveil some of its visual components in an ensuing NFT drop. He also recen...

If you’ve been a fan of David Bazan’s music for the past few decades, you know that releasing a surprise album is a sign of personal growth and acceptance. The veteran indie rocker has released numerous albums — both under the Pedro the Lion moniker and as a solo artist — that have dealt with his messy break with Christianity and the psychological damage the Church caused him. Keeping close tabs on his emotional state both with himself and his fans is something that he has always valued. But when it came time to release his new Pedro the Lion album, Havasu (which he spent the past year quietly recording), the idea of presenting this batch of songs all at once without advance singles seemed like the right thing to do. Since reviving Pedro the Lion after nearly 15 years, Havasu marks his sec...
The Witcher‘s GWENT will receive a new, standalone, single-player game that will launch later this year, according to a new report from IGN. The game, which is codenamed Project Golden Nekker, is currently being developed by CD Projekt Red‘s GWENT team. The gameplay will not require users to own any other editions of GWENT in order to engage in the full single-player experience. GWENT first appeared as a minigame in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before turning into a standalone multiplayer title in 2016. In 2018, GWENT then received its own spinoff dubbed The Witcher Tales: Thronebreaker. “It’s not another Witcher Tales [game] but something different,” GWENT Comms Lead Pawel Burza said in a statement to IGN. “We’re aiming to provide a captivating single-player for players who prefer it ov...
Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has crafted a new streaming platform as a home for thousands of the iconic alternative rock band’s demos, cleverly named “Weezify.” The demos range from Cuomo’s early solo work from decades ago to Weezer demos as recent as 2017’s Pacific Daydream. In all the recent controversy surrounding Spotify, maybe it’s time for a new platform to take over. Cuomo certainly seems to think so. Yesterday morning he tweeted, “Tired of Spotify? Come on over to Weezify” along with the link to the platform. The app store description describes the platform as “a Spotify-like player for all of Rivers Cuomo’s demos (1975 – 2017).” It details that the platform holds close to 3,500 demos. Within it, users can create, share and follow playlists. “I made this app myself,” Cuomo sa...
