Paramount+ has unveiled its official trailer for the live-action Halo TV series. The teaser for the show was initially shared ahead of the NFL AFC Championship Game on CBS. The Halo live-action TV series was announced back in 2013 and has spent multiple years in development before ViacomCBS confirmed that it was planning on premiering the show on Paramount+. The show was previously planned for Showtime. The two-minute trailer has now dropped, revealing that it does not actually occur in the same continuity as the two-decade gaming franchise. Netflix will be forced to undergo a legal battle against grandmaster Nona Gaprindashvili over a line in The Queen’s Gambit after a judge refused to dismiss the defamation case. Peacemaker director and writer James Gunn recently took to Twitter to showcase a short clip from the fifth episode, “Monkey Dory.” In this particular scene, John Cena can be heard reciting a list of celebrity options that could be framed for murder and sent to jail instead of his father, Auggie Smith.
