DJ Fresh Revives Beloved Early 2000’s Drum & Bass Imprint, Breakbeat Kaos

Breakbeat Kaos, one of the industry’s most beloved record labels for drum & bass music, has relaunched at the direction of DJ Fresh. In the early 2010s, Fresh achieved world recognition for hit tracks like “Gold Dust” and then—alongside Rita Ora—became the world’s first artist to top the U.K. charts with a drum & bass single, according to UKF. He did the same with 2011’s timeless dubstep song “Louder.” As his career boomed, releases on Breakbeat Kaos began to wind down. By that point, however, the imprint had already released a slew of early career singles from future household names like NERO and Chase & Status. They also released Hold Your Colour, the debut album from legendary drum & bass group Pendulum. Recommended Articles None...

Linking up with 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne for the remix clip to “Thought I Was Gonna Stop,” Pap and Remy drop all the bars in the visually entertaining video filled with CGI effects and colorful backdrops. We lowkey surprised they haven’t dropped more cuts together. Speaking of CGI, Wiz Khalifa uses quite a bit of it in his Project Pat assisted visuals to “Backseat” which uses animation to delight the eye while Wiz and Project pleases the ears. Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Berner featuring Cozmo, Rubi Rose, and mo...

Kid Rock Threatens to Cancel Concerts Where Vaccine Mandates Are Enforced

When Kid Rock first announced his “Bad Reputation Tour,” I jokingly referred to it as the “Superspreader Tour,” which sent the Bawitdaba stans into a tizzy, because god forbid one questions Mr. Colostomy Bag’s attention to health and safety. Well, lo and behold, Robert Ritchie is now threatening to cancel concerts on his upcoming tour if venues dare to enforce vaccine mandates. In a video posted to Facebook, Kid Rock assured fans that he and his team did extensive research and are confident that they hadn’t booked a gig at a venue with an existing mandate; and if they had, that the mandates “will be done… by the time we’re going to get to your city.” “If they’re not,” Kid Rock continued, “you don’t have to worry, you’ll be getting your money back — because I won’t be showing up either!
