A New ‘Dark Souls’ Exploit Can Give Hackers Full Control of Your PC
A Dark Souls exploit has now left PC players completely vulnerable. The exploit was first brought to light during a Dark Souls 3 live stream earlier this week when a hacker managed to take control of the streamer’s computer using a remote code execution exploit (RCE). The RCE essentially allows hackers to access everything in your computer or even brick it completely. Since then, Bandai Namco and From Software had temporarily shut down servers across Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls 2, and Dark Souls 3 in an attempt to thwart more hackers and fix the exploit. This Is What ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ Looks Like on the Game Boy
German developer Sebastian Staacks has found a way to “play” Grand Theft Auto V on a Game Boy console. In a lengthy blog post accompanied by a video, Staacks explained that he uses his WiFi Game Boy cartridge to “stream full resolution video and even play games” on the Nintendo console. ComicBook reports that the video game is originally on a PlayStation console and is then sent to a Linux laptop that sends the information to the WiFi Game Boy cartridge. Disney+ Films Make up Almost All of the Top 15 Most-Streamed Movies of 2021
In the age of the streaming wars, Nielsen revealed that Disney+ makes up almost all of the top 15 most-streamed movies of 2021. According to reports, Disney+ films took up 11 of the top 15 titles, followed by Netflix with three and Amazon with one. The top four most-streamed movies of 2021 were Luca, which earned around 10.6 billion minutes of viewing time, Moana, Raya and The Last Dragon and Frozen 2. Netflix came in at No. 5, 9 and 14 with Red Notice, The Mitchells vs. The Machines and We Can Be Heroes respectively, while Amazon’s sole entry was Chris Pratt’s The Tomorrow War at No. 12. After Daniel Craig concluded his 007 franchise run as James Bond, there was much speculation surrounding who will succeed him for the role of the titular spy agent. Producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson recently spoke with Deadline regarding how they decided on the ending of to kill Daniel Craig’s Bond character. Dame Dash Announced He Has Begun Filming ‘Paid in Full’ Sequel
Dame Dash has officially announced that a Paid in Full sequel is in the works. The Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder was originally a producer for the 2002 hip-hop cult classic film. In a recent conversation with AllHipHip Dame Dash confirmed another installment of the 1980s-set crime drama, “I’m about to shoot Paid In Full in Newark.” He continued, “It’s what happens after he put all that work on the street and somebody had to get that money back. And I actually was one of the only d******* that lost money. Well, not d******, but I lost money in that one. Sony Is Making a Movie With Its PlayStation Game Creator ‘Dreams’
Sony Pictures Classics is now looking to make a movie with a PlayStation game creation tool named Dreams. Titled A Winter’s Journey, the new film is based on Franz Schubert’s classical song cycle Winterreise and is set in Bavaria in 1812, following the dangerous journey of a heartbroken poet across the snowy, mountainous terrain. Visually, the movie will combine live-action actors with CG, painted animations, and a world built with Media Molecule‘s Dreams engine to create a blended experience unlike any we’ve seen before.
