Jack White Reveals Mellow New Single, ‘Love Is Selfish’
Jack White has already detailed plans for two new albums in 2022 — Fear of the Dawn on April 8 and Entering Heaven Alive on July 22 — and today brings the release of “Love Is Selfish,” the first single from the latter project. White directed the video for the track. “Love Is Selfish” is a surprisingly mellow change-of-pace for White, especially on the heels of the fuzzed-out “Taking Me Back,” the lead single from Fear of the Dawn. The artist largely accompanies himself on acoustic guitar here; in the video, he’s alternately performing alone on stage at an empty American Legion Hall or sitting at the bar nursing a can of Narragansett beer. Shortly after receiving a Symbiote Spider-Man design, we now have Spider-Man: No Way Home concept art that reveals a cut America Chavez scene. The newly surfaced concept art reveals that Marvel‘s first Latin-American LGBTQ hero was initially set to join the MCU in the recently released Marvel Studios blockbuster. In the proof of concept art, the young hero capable of opening star-shaped holes in reality to travel through the multiverse and into other realities is seen standing in front of Peter Parker and MJ. Comic With First Appearance of Superman Sells for $3.18 Million USD
1938 marked the year where the Superman character made his first appearance in the comic world in Action Comics No. 1. Now a copy of Action Comics No. 1 has hit the auction blocks, selling for $3.18 million USD. This comic is now the third most expensive comic book ever purchased. The sale was brokered by Goldin Auctions on behalf of its private client. The particular copy of the DC Comics title is called “The Rocket Copy” because it features a rocket stamp placed there by the 13-year-old who purchased the issue from the newsstand in 1938. The copy has received a 6.0 CGC grading. Other Action Comics that have sold for more were graded an 8.5 CGC rating and achieved $3.25 million USD at auction in April 2021 while one which was graded a 9.0 sold for $3.2 million in August 2014. Bam Margera Will Appear in ‘Jackass Forever’ After All
It looks like Bam Margera will be making an appearance on the upcoming Jackass Forever film. After a rocky discharge — which involved a lawsuit — due to apparently testing positive for Adderall, a new interview confirms that Margera is listed 45 out of the 49 cast credits in the film — appearing in a single part. “We wanted him all throughout the movie, but unfortunately that’s not the way it worked out. Epic Games‘ Fortnite is making its awaited return to iOS through NVIDIA GeForce NOW. As it turns out, the Internet was right: Logan Paul‘s $3.5 million USD box of first-edition Pokémon cards are fake. Confirming the scam himself, Paul uploaded a seven-minute video earlier onto his YouTube channel revealing that he has indeed been duped once again. The online personality met up with the seller and the team at Baseball Cards Exchange who verified the box in a hotel room in Chicago to investigate the authenticity of the cards after many in the TCG community online started pointing out issues with his purchase, and upon opening up the boxes, they found a whole range of inconsistencies.
