Spoon Announce 2022 U.S. Tour Dates

Spoon have announced U.S. tour dates in support of their forthcoming album, Lucifer on the Sofa. After a one-off concert in February at California’s Santa Ana Observatory, the tour formally kicks off April 6 at Boston’s House of Blues. The shows will bring Spoon across the country before wrapping up June 4 at Phoenix’s Van Buren. They will be supported by Margaret Glaspy and Geese. Find the dates below. Country singer Maren Morris has announced a new album. It’s called Humble Quest and it’s slated for release on March 25 via Columbia Nashville. Her follow-up to 2019’s Girl spans 11 tracks in total and includes her recent single “Circles Around This Town.” Lyrically, according to a press release, Humble Quest documents Morris’ journey to redefine humility during the pandemic while juggling motherhood, an upended career, and the death of her friend and collaborator Michael Busbee. Nirvana Hit With Second Complaint Over Nevermind Art

Hey wait, he’s got a new complaint. Nearly two weeks after a judge dismissed his initial suit after missing a deadline to respond to Nirvana‘s request to dismiss, Spencer Elden has filed paperwork in U.S. District Court of Central California. The second amended complaint, as obtained by SPIN, says that the suit is seeking “damages arising out of each Defendant’s violations during the ten years preceding the filing of this action and since, of federal child pornography and commercial child exploitation statutes.” Once again, the suit names Nirvana, Universal Music Group and photographer Kirk Weddle as defendants.
