Slash has confirmed to Classic Rock magazine in a new interview that a new album from GUNS N’ ROSES is definitely coming. “There’s new GUNS material coming out as we speak, and we’ll probably keep putting it out until the entire record’s worth of stuff is done and then put it out solid,” the guitarist said. “It’s cool. Popcorn Time Has Been Fully Shut Down
Following years of existing in a mostly legally gray zone, facing several legal issues and temporary closures, popular video piracy app, Popcorn Time has officially shut down. Earlier this week, the developers that launched the video torrenting platform back in 2014 announced that the app has been retired due to a lack of public interest. The Popcorn Time website now shows a playful graphic showing a dead popcorn box and graph illustrating a decline in interest over time. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has announced that the 2022 Golden Globes will be a “private event” with no livestream. The non-profit organization confirmed the news on social media, tweeting, “This year’s event is going to be a private event and will not be live-streamed. US Government Releases New Photos of Wu-Tang Clan’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Shaolin’
The United States government has released new photos of Wu-Tang Clan‘s famed Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album. Buzzfeed obtained the the bill of sale and pictures of the album by a Freedom of Information Act request. The imagery sent by the Department of Justice includes the album’s leather-covered nickel silver box and cedarwood box storage, a 175-page leather-bound lyric book and a certificate of authenticity. Photographs of the two CDs, the song titles and aspects of the lyric book were redacted, however, due to “trade secrets.” In October 2021, a group of crypto enthusiasts called PleasrDAO confirmed that they purchased Once Upon a Time in Shaolin from the federal government for $4 million USD.
