Get ready to go hunting, because Sabrina Carpenter has hidden plenty of Easter eggs. On Monday night (Jan. 4), the American singer and songwriter stopped by The Tonight Show for a chat about the Big Apple, “Skinny Dipping,” Emergency, and her forthcoming album, which is due out sometime this year. David Lee Roth’s apparent retirement party will have to wait, as the former Van Halen singer has canceled his entire Las Vegas residency. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer had previously declared the planned gigs at the House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino would be his last shows ever. The residency was initially slated to be comprised of five shows, and then expanded to nine when four more dates were added. Today, the artist otherwise known as Josh Tillman shared the artwork and tracklist for Chloë and the Next 20th Century, and shared “Funny Girl,” the album’s first single. Tillman recorded Chloë and the Next 20th Century in 2020 with longtime collaborator Jonathan Wilson. The album features strings, brass, and woodwinds performed by the likes of Dan Higgins and Wayne Bergeron, with arrangements by Drew Erickson. To accompany the release of his new album Dawn FM, The Weeknd has announced an exclusive livestream experience with Amazon Music. The Canadian crooner is set to drop his newest mixtape on January 7, a follow-up to his March 2020 album, After Hours. The artist took to Instagram to announce his partnership with Amazon Music to give fans the maximum experience to enjoy the album. Kay Flock Arrested on First-Degree Murder Charge, Lawyer Investigating Allegations

Bronx rapper Kay Flock was arrested on December 23 on a charge of first-degree murder, his attorney Scott E. Leemon confirmed to Pitchfork. According to the Daily News, Kay Flock—an 18-year-old born Kevin Perez—is suspected of shooting and killing a 24-year-old man in Manhattan on December 16. In addition to the murder charge, Kay Flock is facing two felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, according to online records viewed by Pitchfork.
