In the lull before Christmas really gets into gear, Sony has delivered a new trailer for what it hopes will be a new action-adventure franchise, starring its very own Spider-Man. Uncharted features Tom Holland as a young Nathan Drake, who gets swept up in a treasure hunt by his new partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). The new trailer expands upon the first one by showcasing Nathan and Sully’s meet-cute, followed by them getting into some puzzle-solving adventures with a young woman named Chloe (Sophia Ali), who will presumably have more than one line of dialogue in the actual film (unlike this trailer). The hard sell here is the chemistry between Holland and Wahlberg, and to the trailer’s credit it does look like a lot of fun is in store there. Plus, for those who have missed t...

Opening with CRi’s emotive remix of “Filmic,” the album quickly shifts gears with a fast-paced rework of “Sun & Moon” by trance music luminary Ilan Bluestone. Seven Lions is closing the year out strong, tapping Atlys to reimagine a number of his biggest hits in Opus, a new album of orchestral renditions. Although the idea of Opus isn’t something fans often yearn for, it’s an idea that fits perfectly into Seven Lions’s discography and aesthetic. His mystical world-building has long seemed like it could spawn an orchestral album and the one he’s released alongside Atlys, out now via his own Ophelia Records imprint, is perfectly executed. Seven Lions and Atlys have done a remarkable job at recreating some of his most prized tracks. “Only Now (in E Minor)” remains just as dynamic and moving as its predecessor, though stirs up completely new emotions. However, “The Blood (in E Minor” is the most ra...
