Isaiah Rashad and SZA reunited Thursday evening for a performance of “Score” on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The show marked Rashad’s first time appearing on the late night television program. SZA made her debut on Kimmel back in 2017, singing “Drew Barrymore” off of her album Ctrl. She returned later that same year alongside Maroon 5 to perform her feature on the band’s single “What Lovers Do.” “Mm, just wanna ride-ride with you,” Rashad and SZA sang together. “Shoot and I would die-die with you.” 6Lack, who also has a guest appearance on “Score,” was absent from the performance. HBO has dropped off the official trailer for Chillin Island, an upcoming, unscripted series that follows rappers and other artists as they journey through different natural landscapes in an attempt to “reveal unknowable truths from the dreamstate of the shared human existence.” The series includes Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Gunna, Coi Leray, Lil Tecca, Killer Mike, Ski Mask the Slump God and Ezra Koening of Vampire Weekend. According to Deadline, Rosalía will make an appearance in the HBO show, though she did not appear in the trailer. Young Thug and Lil Baby have teamed up with Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock for his new single “Eyes Open.” The song is the first single off of Rock’s EP 2 Get You Thru The Rain, which dropped on Thursday. Its release follows 2019’s TrapStar Turnt PopStar. “See, you like glass and I see right through you,” Young Thug raps on his feature. “I see, you don’t be lovin’ me.” Lil Baby joins in to drop bars on the third verse. “And I’m always on the move, I can’t be standin’ still,” he says. Titled Star Wars Eclipse, the new title is being developed by Quantic Dream, the studio behind other hits such as Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. The hit game Among Us is coming to the world of Virtual Reality. The announcement was made at The Game Awards 2021, where the game’s creators unveiled a trailer for the forthcoming stand-alone VR edition. Among Us debuted on PC and mobile devices in 2018 and received a Nintendo Switch version in late 2020. The adaptation is being developed by Schell Games, the studio behind Until You Fall and the I Expect You To Die franchise. Though Schell has yet to share a release date, the VR edition will launch on Meta Quest, PlayStation VR and SteamVR. The original PUBG will be free-to-play beginning next month. Announced at The Game Awards 2021 by developer Krafton, newcomers can play PUBG: Battlegrounds for free starting on January 12. The news arrives nearly five years after PUBG launched in March 2017 in beta on Xbox and PC, followed by a rollout on PlayStation and mobile devices the year after. The Darkness are coming to North America, and they’re doing it up big. The UK rockers have announced a lengthy North American tour in support of their just-released album, Motorheart. Frontman Justin Hawkins, guitarist Dan Hawkins, bassist Frankie Poullain and drummer Rufus Taylor will hit the road next spring for 34 shows, setting off March 9th in San Diego, and running through an April 24th date in Boston.
