Law Firm Seeks $10 Billion USD in Astroworld Festival Damages From Travis Scott
Houston-based law firm Brent Coon & Associates has filed a $10 billion USD lawsuit against Travis Scott on behalf of more than 1,500 Astroworld Festival attendees. Robbie Shakespeare, Influential Sly and Robbie Bassist, Dies at 68
Known as one half of dynamic rhythm duo Sly and Robbie, bassist Robbie Shakespeare passed away at the age of 68 according to a Tweet by Olivia Grange, Jamaica’s Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment & Sport. The reggae legend collaborated with everyone from Bob Dylan to Grace Jones, Mick Jagger to Yoko Ono, and was revered both in and out of the reggae community. Rockstar Games is adding a new episode of single-player content to Grand Theft Auto Online, dubbed “The Contract,” next week. Switch Hacker Gary Bowser to Pay Nintendo $10 Million USD in Lawsuit Settlement
After pleading guilty to federal piracy charges back in October, hacker Gary “GaryOPA” Bowser has now reached a settlement with Nintendo, agreeing to pay the gaming giant $10 million USD. As a member of Team Xecuter, Bowser was responsible for designing and subsequently selling devices that allowed users to play pirated games through a modchip on the Nintendo Switch. He was indicted in September of 2020 on federal charges at a U.S. District Court and could be subject to jail time after pleading guilty despite coming to a settlement with the Japanese video game company in a separate civil lawsuit.
