Zoë Kravitz is giving DC Comics fans another teaser of what to expect from Robert Pattinson as he takes on the role of the Caped Crusader in The Batman. Kravitz, who plays Catwoman in the upcoming superhero film set in Gotham City, has praised Pattinson’s performance and dedication to the titular character. The next generation of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will be coming to Netflix. Revealed by Jonathan Entwistle, Hasbro’s split from Toei and acquisition of Entertainment One will now usher in a new “Power Rangers Cinematic Universe” — connecting the numerous seasons of television shows and movie iterations. Michael Lombardo, President of Global Television at EOne, revealed to Deadline, “Since we set up Power Rangers with Jonathan, we pitched really a whole-world approach. It’s not just one show, it is shows followed by films, some kids’ programming. We have found a great writing partner for him, they are off. More ‘Spider-Man’ Villains May Be Getting Standalone Spin-Offs
Riding on the success of the Venom franchise and the anticipation for both Morbius and Kraven the Hunter, Sony Pictures is now rumored to be expanding its own Spider-verse with even more Spider-Man villain spin-offs. According to a new report from The Direct — which cited insider Daniel Richtman as its source — the company is now looking to develop franchises for two more of Spidey’s most notorious enemies: Rhino and Sandman. Both have already had representations on the silver screen, with Sandman appearing in 2007’s Spider-Man 3 and Rhino making a short cameo at the end of 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. ‘Dune’ Returning To IMAX Theaters in December 2021
Dennis Villeneuve‘s Dune is set to return to IMAX theaters in December 2021. According to reports, the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi epic will make its way back to IMAX theaters on December 3 for a limited time only. Deadline states that Dune’s IMAX-exclusive 1.90:1 aspect ratio will allow audiences to see 26% more picture, while its 1.43 aspect ratio in select theaters worldwide boasts of 40% more picture. The Timotheé Chalamet-starring film recently left HBO Max, making it currently a theater exclusive. Dune is set to cross $100 million USD in the domestic box office this weekend, becoming the second film from Warner Bros. and HBO Max’s hybrid premiere strategy to hit that mark.
