A man who allegedly smuggled copies of Netflix’s South Korean thriller Squid Game into North Korea has been sentenced to death after authorities caught high schoolers watching the show. RFA, a US-headquartered independent news agency, reported (via Variety) that the man carried episodes of Squid Game on USB flash drives obtained in China. Hayao Miyazaki Comes Out of Retirement for His Final Studio Ghibli Film
Hayao Miyazaki is back in the director’s chair for the first time since 2013’s The Wind Rises with his last Studio Ghibli film. In an interview with the New York Times, the filmmaker shared that he has been working on the new movie for the last four years and that it is based on Genzaburo Yoshino’s novel How Do You Live?
