HipHopWired Featured Video Hip-Hop lyricists rejoice as two of the games sickest spitters in Freddie Gibbs and Jadakiss have reunited to give the heads the kind of bars that not only satisfies like a Snickers, but also breaks off the competition something crunchy like a Kit Kat. Linking up for the visuals to “Black Illuminati,” Freddie Gibbs and Jay-To-The-Muah hold court in a spacey mansion with a team of attractive women who hold up mirrors for them while they lay down their verses before taking to the streets in a big boy Hummer. Keeping the scene in NYC, French Montana finds himself having an out of body experience as he witnesses himself go back to the essence before coming back to life only to go through the memory motions in the short film visuals to “They Got Amnesia.” Check out th...

Guinean artist BaKaRi Bombo has released an all-new music video titled “Demon,” which tracks the Brooklyn-bred rapper on a journey of self reflection through the city. BaKaRi is no stranger to traveling fast and often though, as he spent most of his childhood, in a military family, moving around from different states in the U.S. (Brooklyn, Chicago, Texas, Ohio) to back and fourth between there and living with his family in his native land of Guinée, Conakry in West Africa. Making his return from an almost year long hiatus from music as a buzzing artist who’s seen a lot already in his journey, from moving often to suffe...

Spotify has removed the option to shuffle songs on an album as the default setting so that users can hear the songs in the order the artist intended. In a tweet on Saturday, Adele said removing the shuffle button “was the only request I had in our ever-changing industry.” “We don’t create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason,” she wrote. “Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended.” This was the only request I had in our ever changing industry! We don’t create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason. Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended. Thank ...
In a brand new interview with the “Iron City Rocks” podcast, legendary Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen spoke about the recording process for his latest album, “Parabellum”, while the coronavirus pandemic was in full swing. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “The whole thing is very surreal. Because in an estimated hundred thousand years of human civilization, this has never happened before. There’s been many, many, many, many pandemics — I mean, countless: the European plague and the 1918 [flu pandemic] and whatever — but there never, ever has been a situation where every event, every… At one point, even restaurants were closed. That never happened before; this is the first time in human history, as long as humans have existed. So, obviousl...
