Snoop Dogg has released the first song off of his forthcoming LP Snoop Dogg Presents the Algorithm. The stormy “Murder Music” opens with a spit-fire piano sequence that sounds like it’s straight out of a horror movie. Against the piano chords, which cut in and out over the course of the song, a hard-hitting beat provides the backdrop for bars from the track’s featured artists, Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher and Busta Rhymes. Benny delivers the first verse, followed by Jadakiss, who chronicles a creepy killer tale of those who get caught and then those who don’t. Bobby Shmurda has dropped off his latest single, “Splash.” Following the release of “Cartier Lens” last week, “Splash” marks the 27-year-old rapper’s latest step in his gradual return to music since being released from prison in February. Ahead of the song’s debut, Shmurda shared a snippet from the track’s upcoming flashy music video, in which the rapper is seen dancing through a penthouse pool party. Shmurda signed with Roc Nation in August before putting out his first single since being released from prison. The freestyle, dubbed “No Time for Sleep,” landed alongside a visual of Shmurda rapping in an abandoned warehouse. Tawny Kitaen‘s daughters have opened up about their mother’s death, saying they were “relieved” she died peacefully in her bed. Kitaen passed away on May 7 at her home in Newport Beach, California. She was 59 years old. Last month, a spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in California said that Tawny‘s cause of death was dilated cardiomyopathy. The manner of death was ruled natural. SCORPIONS have released the official music video for their new single, “Peacemaker”. The track, which features music courtesy of guitarist Rudolf Schenker and bassist Pawel Maciwoda and lyrics by singer Klaus Meine, is taken from the band’s 19th studio album, “Rock Believer”, due on February 25, 2022 (postponed from the previously announced February 11).
