Danny Elfman staged the first of two live-to-film performances of The Nightmare Before Christmas at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday night. The legendary composer was joined by several special guests, including Billie Eilish, who portrayed the character Sally. Accompanied by Elfman (as Jack Skellington) and a full orchestra, Eilish sang both “Sally’s Song” and “Simply Meant to Be.” She also dressed the part, wearing a patchwork dress and stitch marks painted all over her body. Former DEATH Manager ERIC GREIF Dies

Eric Greif, former manager of DEATH and president of Perseverance Holdings Ltd., which manages Chuck Schuldiner‘s (DEATH, CONTROL DENIED) legacy, has died. Greif also worked as an entertainment lawyer, representing bands like OBITUARY and MASSACRE. he was 59 years old. Greif was reportedly an insulin-dependent diabetic for much of his life, which was briefly cured by a pancreas transplant, but it failed a few months later and health continued to be a struggle for him. In recent months, Greif was desperately searching for a kidney donor but was unable to find one. KISS’s Las Vegas Residency Has Been Canceled

KISS‘s second Las Vegas residency has been canceled. Tickets for the legendary rockers’ engagement at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood, which was scheduled to launch at the end of December, have been taken down from the Caesars Entertainment/Ticketmaster link and fans who already purchased tickets via Ticketmaster have been notified that the shows are no longer taking place. Zappos Theater representatives have told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that ticket providers will contact purchasers with refund information. According to Las Vegas Review-Journal writer John Katsilometes, “soft ticket sales” are reportedly the reason the run has been called off. The Fugees have announced that they are postponing their international reunion tour. The renowned trio made the announcement on October 29 via Instagram, citing that the decision is to “ensure the best chance that all cities on the tour are fully open so we can perform for as many fans as possible.” The tour was originally set to begin on Tuesday, November 2 in Chicago, Illinois and conclude on December 18 in Ghana.
