Ice Cube has dropped out of the upcoming Sony comedy Oh Nell No after declining to get vaccinated for COVID-19. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 52-year-old rapper-turned-actor exited the project after producers said the full cast would need to be vaccinated. In doing so, Ice Cube walked away from a $9 million pay day. Production on the film, which co-stars Jack Black, has been postponed as the studio looks for a replacement. South Park has now announced a new special coming on Thanksgiving this year, once again focusing on the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Titled South Park: Post COVID, the upcoming film is the first of 14 spin-off movies promised by the show’s creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone as part of a recent $900 million USD deal with MTV Entertainment Studios and ViacomCBS which saw the series get renewed up until its 30th season. A new reality show from the Kardashian-Jenner family is in the works at Hulu, Variety reported. While few details about the show have been revealed, the publication wrote that the untitled series was described by Hulu as a “new, intimate journey into their lives.” The news follows the finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in June, closing off 20 seasons of the show as the longest-running reality television series in the United States. The legendary rockers have released a statement defending themselves after a group of their roadies suggested to Rolling Stone magazine that the lack of COVID protocols enforced on the tour led to the death of a longtime guitar tech, 53-year-old Francis Stueber.
