My Daddy Has 100 Synths is the perfect book for dads looking to introduce their kids to the vintage synthesizer world. Penned by Billy Cardigan, one-half of Shy Boyz, the Dr. Seuss-style rhyming book is told from the perspective of a child whose father flaunts his encyclopedic synth collection. “This one is polyphonic and has a vocoder! Rust AD Admits He Didn’t Check Gun Before Handing it to Alec Baldwin

Dave Halls, the first assistant director on Rust, acknowledged to investigators that he did not do a thorough job checking a weapon for live rounds before handing it off to Alec Baldwin. Baldwin was seemingly unaware that the weapon, a Cult 45, was loaded when he fired it during rehearsals last Thursday, resulting in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. According to a police affidavit released on Wednesday (via Variety), Halls told detectives that he did not check all of the rounds. ‘Fortnite’ Partners With Universal Pictures on New ‘Shortnitemares’ Miniseries

Universal Pictures has partnered with Epic Games‘ Fornite to bring its classic film monsters into the world of video games. The film studio joined forces with the gaming platform to create an original, animated short-form miniseries, dubbed We Will Be Monsters, that features contemporary versions of old-time characters including the Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula and the Mummy. Aside from each character’s modernized appearance, the series marks the first time that most of the famous monsters are multiethnic. Rudy Sarzo will play his first show as the returning bassist for veteran rockers QUIET RIOT on November 6 at The Groove Music Hall in Woodford, Virginia.
