Jeff Tweedy has announced a deluxe edition of his 2020 album Love Is the King, featuring a new collection of live versions of its songs titled Live Is the King. Due out December 10th via dBpm Records, it comes with a new cover of Neil Young’s “The Old Country Waltz,” which is out today. Live is the King sees the Wilco frontman accompanied by a band consisting of his sons Sammy and Spencer Tweedy, as well as Liam Kazar, James Elkington, and Ohmme’s Sima Cunningham. Jeff Tweedy is releasing a deluxe edition of his record from last year, Love Is The King/Live Is The King out digitally on December 10 via dBpm Records. Additionally, Tweedy announced a slew of shows taking place this winter. The expanded package features all 11 original Love Is The King tracks, a bonus disc with live versions of every song, and a cover of Neil Young’s “The Old Country Waltz,” which dropped today. While the public’s appetite for unreleased Avicii music is seemingly evergreen, Mike Posner has some complicated emotions on whether the ideas he was working on with the late dance music legend should see an official release. In an interview with Distractify, Posner says he feels “conflicted” about releasing any music Avicii had a hand in without his permission. He reasons that Avicii was a perfectionist at heart, and he would have dug into the nitty gritty details of their collaborative ideas before endorsing any of their projects for release. “On one hand, some of the ideas we had started are really awesome.
