That was a moment,” enthused judge Derek Hough, while Len Goodman said the dance was “superb.” Carrie Ann Inaba described the performance as nothing short of flawless. “You leave me nothing to say,” she said, “other than this was perfection.” And Bruno Tonioli added, “That was the most exquisite interpretation of the importance and power of friendship.” The show’s first same-sex dance pair earned the first perfect score of the season, with a total of 40 out of 40. Coldplay should keep their U.K. chart streak alive with Music of the Spheres (Parlophone), which surges into the lead on the midweek survey. Music of the Spheres is already the fastest-seller of the year. The album shifts more than 81,000 units over the weekend, the OCC reports, besting Dave’s previous 2021 best, We’re All Alone In This Together, which amassed 74,000 chart sales in its opening week back in July. Spheres is on track to become the first album to notch more than 100,000 chart sales in a week since Ed Sheeran’s No. 6 Collaborations project shifted 125,000 in July 2019, more than two years ago. HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty On Sunday night (Oct. 18) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Big Daddy Kane and KRS-One had their Verzuz showdown and it was everything a Hip-Hop head could ask for. As fans rabidly debate who came out on top, the culture itself came home with the W. While DJ Scratch and DJ Kid Capri (more on them later) held down Kane and KRS on the wheels of steels, respectively, it was Fat Joe who introduced the start of the battle. Fat Joe represents the Bronx, but he showed reverence for both legends. KRS hit the stage first, and he wasted no time as Kane was slower to enter, blasting off by performing “Criminal Minded.” Related Stories Kane rolled up unbothered sporting a mean fedora and when it was his turn started things off by sa...
“This is our 49th show in Los Angeles,” Mick Jagger was shouting. In a flash, the 70,000-capacity SoFi stadium quickly responded with a harmonious yell, building a call and response that even after 60 years, The Rolling Stones have stayed as the undeniable spearheads of rock ‘n’ roll — even if just for the night. Straight from the American leg of their rescheduled “No Filter Tour,” Sunday (October 17th) marked night two of the sold-out ring of Southern California shows, and it was anything but filtered. For roughly 120 minutes, the Stones secured their crowns as the “kings of rock.” Guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood plumped the evening with hard-hitting riffs, typical Jagger catwalks, and soul-infused backup vocals bringing a tight punch to classics like “Gimme Shelter” and “You Ca...

Then, he’ll head across the pond for a handful of gigs in Europe before closing out the tour in April with a series of UK dates. “I am so incredibly stoked to get back on the road and to do what I love the most, which is to perform on stage and to meet with my fans,” Nam said in a statement. “For the first time, I’ll be joined by a live band, reunited with my incredible dancers/crew, and playing a brand new album. I can’t wait to see you all and put on ...

STAIND frontman Aaron Lewis has accused the U.S. Democratic Party of ” trying to ruin” the country. The outspoken conservative rocker, who reinvented himself as a solo country artist in the last decade, voiced his views before performing his new single called “Am I The Only One” during his October 17 concert at the Charleston Municipal Auditorium in Charleston, West Virginia. Addressing the fact that “Am I The Only One” takes aim at liberals and touches on American flags burning and statues that have been removed in the U.S., he said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “All those statues, they were all Democrats. All of ’em. It’s funny how they’re trying to erase their own history. It’s their history. “It’s not...
In a new interview with Noise11.com ‘s Paul Cashmere, MÖTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee was asked if it’s nice to see so many musicians around the world paying tribute to iconic MÖTÖRHEAD leader Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister in the years following his death. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Absolutely. It’s what it is. Most of us are just great friends out there. We love what we’re doing. We have the same vision. We have the same mentality — most of us — and just trying to have a good time entertaining the crowd and enjoying ourselves along the way. That’s how it is. “Of course, when a colleague passes away, you do whatever you can,” he continued. “I mean, it’s so final. I remember when Ronnie [James Dio] passe...
“The River Is Rising”, the new single from SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS, will be released on October 22. A 33-second teaser video can be seen below. In the clip, guitarist Slash states: “This was the first time that we actually did all the guitars, bass and drums live at the same time, and kept all those tracks. And we also did the vocals live as well. So, the record just sounds like the band playing the songs that we came in with, but it’s us playing in the moment. And that’s what we were going for.” Vocalist Myles Kennedy adds: “This one’s pretty much a live record, from my standpoint. You’re just trying to kind of document where you are at that point in life, and do it in an authentic way.” SLASH FEATURING...
