In a new interview with Rocking With Jam Man, ex-STEEL PANTHER bassist Lexxi Foxx (real name: Travis Haley) was asked if he is still on good terms with his former bandmates. He responded: “We haven’t talked. I still talk to the singer [Michael Starr] a little bit; I have in the past. But I think that those scars and I think that the departure, the way that it went down, I think there’s some sore spots. But that’s tough for me to talk about. “That was something that I’m very proud of — to be that character for such a long period of time, and to play with those cats,” he continued. “They’re all amazing musicians. And I just think that it is different to not have that [in my life] — I’d been in character for so long — but I have to s...
For the past few weeks, Adele‘s been back, but she hasn’t been quite, you know, ~back~. She covered both the U.S. and British covers of Vogue and was tied to mysterious billboards that went up prominently in a few cities. All of this led to intense speculation that her fourth album would A) be dropping imminently, and B) be titled 30, following 2008’s 19, 2011’s 21, and 2015’s 25. Yesterday, she teased a new song called “Easy on Me,” set to be released on October 15 — and now she’s made things official. Adele’s new album is indeed titled 30 and will be released November 19. “I’m ready to finally put this album out,” she wrote in a highly personal note shared along with the cover art — her profile in front of a dark tur...

Disney+ has given fans a first look at its upcoming docuseries The Beatles: Get Back. Directed and produced by Peter Jackson, the filmmaker behind the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies, the three-part series follows the making of the band’s 1970 album Let It Be, a record that had the working title of Get Back. The series is based on over 55 hours of restored footage and 140 hours of audio, much of which has never been seen before. It also features live footage from the band’s final public performance, a surprise 42-minute rooftop concert for the album at London’s Savile Row. In making the docuseries, Jackson explained wanting to offer an alternative perspective to the prevailing narrative that The Beatles members were hardly speaking to one another during the creation of the album, wh...
Ahead of the debut of his forthcoming LP Punk on Friday, Young Thug threw an album release party in Hollywood on Tuesday evening where he destroyed a brand new Rolls-Royce alongside his crew. Gunna and Metro Boomin were among those who joined the rapper in the violent celebration, taking baseball bats to the high-end vehicle’s windows, which read “Punk” in pink spray paint on all sides. Gunna climbed on top of the car and slammed down on the windshield, while a crowd of onlookers recorded the chaos. Thug previously offered a preview of four tracks off of the upcoming record — “Die Slow,” “Droppin Jewels,” “Hate the Game” and “Tick Tock” — alongside a full band during his NPR Tink Desk (Home) Concert at the gardens of the Houdini Estate in Los Angeles. In August, the rapper officially put o...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Raymond Hall / Getty This past weekend Kim Kardashian took a second to roast her ex-hubby, Kanye West while hosting this season’s second episode of Saturday Night Live, but Kim isn’t done throwing a little salt on his wounds. TMZ is reporting that the Kimye divorce proceedings is still ongoing and a Kim will actually be walking away with the couple’s Hidden Hill’s Estate valued at roughly $60 million. Kim and her kids have been holing up there since she filed for divorce this past February so it kind of makes sense she gets to keep the crib that she and the kids have called home for months. Related Stories “Kim getting the home is significant, as most of the construction and design was spearheaded by Kanye. He worked with famed architects like Axel Vervoo...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Don Juan Moore / Getty The fallout from the Jon Gruden emails continues (lock him up?), and while many of his former defenders have remained silent for the most part, Keyshawn Johnson took the time to remind everyone that he always felt that Gruden was a “fraud.” Speaking on ESPN Radio’s Keyshawn, JWill & Max, the former NFL wide receiver and Super Bowl Champion (a title he won with Gruden in 2003), Johnson didn’t have any hairs on his tongue when describing his former coach’s style and overall personality. “He’s always been a fraud to me… From day one, he’s been a used car salesman and people bought it because he inherited a championship team built by Tony Dungy and Rich McKay, and he came in there with a little bit of different energy than we had wi...
