For this moment, Bridgers donned NASA kit and stripped the music down to acoustic guitar and violin, for a tight and emotional effect. The California artist made headlines earlier this week when her performance at Austin City Limits was inexplicably cut short, which led to her tweeting “lol f*** acl” on Saturday. The festival has since offered Bridgers an apology, blaming “miscommunication on stage by ACL Festival personnel,” which she accepted. There were no such miscommunications when she performed on Kimmel. Watch below. You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. So we reimagined what a dating should be. In a brand new interview with Brazil’s Diário De São Paulo, founding JUDAS PRIEST guitarist K.K. Downing, who is promoting the debut album from his KK’S PRIEST project, was asked if there is any chance of him ever returning to PRIEST. He responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “No. I asked [them] many, many times in writing. Even before doing this project, I said, ‘Are you absolutely sure?’ And they said, ‘You’re out. The door is closed.’ So then I decided to put KK’S PRIEST together, and that’s the only choice I’ve got. And now I’m fine with that. I don’t see that there’s any other option ever. “I think it’s absolutely unbelievable that Rob [Halford, PRIEST singer] left the band for 12,...
Producer Andrew Watt, who helmed Ozzy Osbourne‘s latest “Ordinary Man” album and is working with the legendary BLACK SABBATH singer on his follow-up effort, was asked in a recent interview with Marci Wiser of the 95.5 KLOS radio station to tell his favorite Ozzy story. He responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Some of ’em I don’t think I can tell on the air. There’s too many — too many. Every day is a story. “During the pandemic, we were making this [new Ozzy] album,” he continued. “I went over to his house. And he draws. He’s actually a great painter and drawer. So I came over and I came and sat down. He was in the middle of drawing something, and he was using a lot of reds and stuff. So I was just talking to him ...
Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival promoters Goldenvoice have abandoned their plan to require proof of full vaccination for entry to next year’s event. Earlier today (Tuesday, October 12), Goldenvoice posted its updated health policy in which it said that festivalgoers will be allowed to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test as long as it’s taken within 72 hours of the event. “After seeing first-hand the low transmission data and successful implementation of safety protocols at our festivals recently, alongside the rising vaccination rate of eligible Americans, we feel confident that we can safely update our policy for Coachella that allows for negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the event OR proof of full vaccination,” Coachella wrote on its web sit...
RATING: 8/10 When you consider how many great death metal bands that are around today, it must have taken a degree of unwavering self-assurance for AEON to disappear for as long as they have. “God Ends Here” is the Swedish crew’s first album in nine years, and connoisseurs of this stuff rejoiced when its existence was first announced, largely because AEON are one of those bands whose music has always seemed heavyweight, crafted and fueled by some grotesque, unseen power (and I can’t speak for anybody else, but that’s definitely what I signed up for). Even considering the length of their absence, no one sensible expects “God Ends Here” to be a disappointment, not least due to that title: now that’s confidence. In the end, this is another maste...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Ethan Miller / Getty If we’ve learned anything in the day and age of modern technology and digital footprints it’s that whatever’s done in the dark will eventually come to light and now NFL coach, Jon Gruden has found himself out of a job due to years old emails in which he showed his true and prejudice character. Before we get started, didn’t we tell y’all Kaepernick was right? According to The New York Times, the Las Vegas Raiders head coach “resigned” from his multi-million dollar gig after emails surfaced in which Gruden used racist, homophobic and misogynistic language in private emails. The latest emails where homophobic and misogynistic terms were used came days after the first racist email was reported on where Gruden used a racist trope to descri...
Rapper Tyga (real name Michael Stevenson) was arrested for felony domestic violence on Tuesday (October 12th) after voluntarily turning himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department in Hollywood, according to local ABC affiliate KABC. According to TMZ, Tyga was arrested after an altercation with his ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson that took place early Monday morning. His bail was set at $50,000. Coachella will no longer require proof of vaccination in order to attend its upcoming April 2022 festival. Instead, ticket-holders will only need to show proof of a negative test taken within 72 hours of the event. Per a statement posted to Coachella’s Instagram, “After seeing first-hand the low transmission data and successful implementation of safety protocols at our other festivals this past month, we feel confident we can update our health policy to allow for: Negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event OR Proof of full vaccination.” The policy is a reversal of the one previously announced by Coachella in August. At the time, the festival said “proof of full vaccination is required for all shows from Coachella promoter Goldenvoice.” However, the change is in line with pol...
