Kim Kardashian’s Pop Trio Auditions for Costco in This ‘SNL’ Sketch That Was Cut for Time: Watch

SNL host Kim Kardashian West sang again for this weekend’s show, in a sketch that was cut for time on Oct. 9. Her “Costco Meeting” sketch, which had her co-starring with Aidy Bryant and Bowen Yang, was uploaded to YouTube on Sunday. The scenario has Kim, Aidy and Bowen in a pop trio that’s introduced to a Costco exec by an intern who has a big idea for the big-box retail store. The trio is introduced as Glitter Revolution, “a three-person bop factory” in coordinating bubble gum pink outfits, and they try to win over the VP of marketing at Costco with three original tunes aimed at bringing teens into the store: one about “bulk b—-es,” plus a slow jam about the chain’s hot dogs and “Flop Shop,” a takedown of their compet...

Drake Celebrates Son Adonis’ Fourth Birthday

When Drake was honored as artist of the decade at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards earlier this year, he brought his then-three-year-old lad onstage during his acceptance speech. In an unscripted moment, while the rapper was talking, Adonis had a moment and tried to run away with the trophy. He didn’t manage to steal the award, but he stole the show. Drake’s latest album Certified Lover Boy blasted to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart last month, breaking records in the process. All 21 of its tracks cracked the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, including a record nine of the Top 10, with “Way 2 Sexy” new at No. 1. See the dad-and-son pic below. Facebook, Instagram Unveil New Controls for Kids

The new controls were outlined on Sunday by Nick Clegg, Facebook’s vice president for global affairs, who made the rounds on various Sunday news shows including CNN’s “State of the Union” and ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” where he was grilled about Facebook’s use of algorithms as well as its role in spreading harmful misinformation ahead of the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. “We are constantly iterating in order to improve our products,” Clegg told Dana Bash on “State of the Union” Sunday. “We cannot, with a wave of the wand, make everyone’s life perfect. What we can do is improve our products, so that our products are as safe and as enjoyable to use.” Clegg said that Facebook has invested $13 billion over the past few years in making sure to keep the platform safe and that the compa...

MF DOOM Posthumously Joins Atmosphere and Aesop Rock in “Barcade”

Atmosphere has enlisted Aesop Rock and the late MF DOOM for the new collab, “Barcade.” The cut arrives with an accompanying visual that follows a video game hero facing different types of bosses — one of them being DOOM’s iconic mask as an intergalactic spaceship. “Barcade” is part of Atmosphere’s latest release Word?, which also features the likes of Evidence, Muja Messiah, Musab, Nino Bless, Nikki Jean, Anwar HighSign, BlackLiq, Sa-Roc, Haphduzn and Lateef the Truthspeaker. In an interview with HipHopDX, Sean “Slug” Daley touched on the realization that DOOM’s contribution for “Barcade” could have been the last verse the late rapper recorded. “That was really intense for me. And by no means were me and him super close friends, but whenever we saw each other, it was on,” he said, adding t...

Snoop Dogg Confirms Collab Track With Eminem for His Next Album

Snoop Dogg and Eminem have long had beef as protegées of Dr. Dre. In recent years, Snoop has spoken out about his opinion on who the best 10 rappers in the game are, but proceeded to exclude the Detroit rapper from the list. However, when he explained that he chose MCs of the like Rakim and LL Cool J because he said he came from an era of rap before Eminem, he took it the wrong way. The beef between the two grew when the Detroit MC later took a shot at Snoop on “Zeus” rapping, “Man, Dogg, you was like a damn god to me/Nah, not really (Haha)/I had ‘dog’ backwards/But I’m starting to think, all these people takin’ shots at me.” The two went back and forth for a while, but it seems that with the new collab track on its way, Eminem and Snoop are on better terms. In a recent Snoop takeover on S...

The track takes the listener on a monumental journey with White‘s powerful soaring vocals, perfectly complemented by Stump and Waldo‘s intricate weaving guitars-and-keys-wizardry bolstered by the thunderous and robust bass and drums fr...

In a new interview with the “Scars And Guitars” podcast, Swedish multi-instrumentalist Peter Tägtgren addressed his decision to quit LINDEMANN, his collaborative project with vocalist Till Lindemann of German industrial metallers RAMMSTEIN. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “We did two albums. We did a tour. We proved our point. And that’s it.” Asked if he and Till are still “mates,” Peter said: “Not really. But it doesn’t matter. So, just to keep it short and [concise], we did something major and it left rings on the water, so to say. I’m proud of it. I was happy. We were really productive when we were working together. There is nothing like me and him when we start doing shit. We can just sit and talk about things li...

The show opened with “Detroit Rock City”, with each of the bandmembers lowered to the stage by hydraulic platforms, decked out in their signature silver- and crystal-studded garb and iconic face paint. As the pods on which Simmons, Paul Stanley and Tommy Thayer were standing were lowered to the stage, Simmons‘ platform suddenly tilted to one side, nearly throwing him off balance.
