Longtime CIRCLE JERKS bassist Zander Schloss is starting a new chapter in his musical career with the release of his first solo recording, “Song About Songs”, from Blind Owl Records. Chloe Trujillo, wife of METALLICA bassist Robert Trujillo, has just released her second studio album, “Mothers Of A New Nation”, via Eleven Magic Music. The Parisian-born artist dropped seven of the LP’s nine total tracks over the past year garnering acclaim from Rolling Stone, Metal Hammer and Hard Force. Veteran music producer/engineer Tommy Daughtery (Death Row Records) spearheaded the overall production of the record. As previously reported, guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer, who sat out some of KORN‘s shows after being diagnosed with COVID-19, rejoined his bandmates on stage on September 18 at Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Del Valle (a southwest Austin suburb), Texas. Shaffer was temporarily replaced by J.R. Bareis, who is also in the band LOVE AND DEATH with KORN guitarist Brian “Head” Welch. Bareis previously stepped in for Shaffer in August 2019 when Munky was forced to miss several KORN shows due to the impending birth of his child.
