Netflix on Tuesday unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming wester film The Harder They Fall, and alongside an action-packed plotline, the visual features a snippet of a new track by JAY-Z and Kid Cudi. The collaborative track underscores the second half of the trailer, as a series of fight sequences featuring stars Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Regina King, Zazie Beetz, R.J. Media mogul 50 Cent has shown his successful transition from music to major television creative with his new Starz project, Black Mafia Family. BMF is based on a true story of the organized crime group Black Mafia Family and highlights founders Demetrius and Terry Flenory as the main protagonists of the plotline. By the 2000s, the BMF was considered one of the most influential crime families in the U.S. with a hip-hop music label that was often used for money laundering and a drug distribution network that spanned across the country. Netflix has just premiered the trailer to another promising Korean series titled Hellbound. Based on Yeon Sang-ho‘s (Train to Busan) webtoon — he will also be directing this series — this series involves a world where angels and demons exist and humans are given the dates of their death then they are pulled to hell once their time is up. The story follows the main characters — played by Yoo Ah-in, Park Jung-min, Kim Hyun-joo, and Won Jin-ah — and their adventure as they survive in this chaotic world. According to reports, The CW has now ordered a reboot of late ’90s sci-fi series, Babylon 5. Widely considered one of the best sci-fi series ever made, Babylon 5 ran on TNT for five seasons with 110 episodes, seven TV movies and a pilot film. Currently in development, original creator J. Ahead of its upcoming release in October, Saturday Night Live has now announced the list of personalities returning, joining, and leaving the show for its 47th season. After joining Def Jam Recordings as an executive creative and strategic consultant in June, Snoop Dogg on Monday announced plans for his 19th studio album and the release of a Def Jam kids’ record during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Activision Blizzard and the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) have agreed to a lawsuit settlement worth $18 million USD. According to reports, the gaming company will start an $18 million USD fund to pay compensation for employees, put a stop to its discriminatory practices, contract a consultant to “ensure compliance,” improve training and the process of its performance review to avoid any future offenses and, finally, comply with future audits from the EEOC. “We will continue to be vigilant in our commitment to the elimination of harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
