After a year when all music festivals were furloughed due to the pandemic, it was glorious to see New York City’s premiere live music event return — even if it was in a new location at Citi Field. Netflix Debuts New Teaser for Stranger Things 4: Watch
We’re one step closer to Season 4 of Stranger Things. At their global fan event TUDUM Festival today, Netflix unveiled a new teaser for the upcoming fourth season of the sci-fi thriller, which is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2022. It appears this season might provide a little more context into Eleven’s telekinetic abilities. The trailer starts with a throwback to the 1950s, set to Ella Fitzgerald’s rendition of “Dream a Little Dream of Me.” All seems fine and dandy among this anonymous nuclear family, until things start to go haywire. The scene then jumps back to the ’80s, as Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) and his children — uh, we mean, friends — search for clues in the now-abandoned house the family once inhabited. Elon Musk and Grimes Have Allegedly “Semi-Separated”
After three years together as well as having a son, X Æ A-Xii, it has been reported that Elon Musk and Grimes are going through a “Semi” separation. In a exclusive interview, Musk reveals that he and Grimes are “semi-separated,” and that they still care for each other and that they visit each other often. They still co-parent their 1-year-old son X Æ A-Xii Musk with Musk elaborating, “It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. First Trailer For Netflix Adaptation of The Sandman Drops
Netflix has dropped the first trailer for its adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman as part of its “Tudum” global fan event. The trailer depicts Roderick Burgess (Charles Dance) conducting the ritual to summon and imprison Death, not knowing which of Death’s family he has captured. Kanye West Documentary Jeen-Yuhs Is Coming to Netflix
Netflix is prepping a documentary about Kanye West called Jeen-Yuhs. As Variety reports, the project follows Ye over a 20-year period, filming his rise as a rapper and businessman. It will also touch on his failed 2020 presidential campaign and the death of his mother, Donda West. The streaming platform teased the doc with a first look that shows Yeezy and Mos Def rapping their song “Two Words” off 2004’s The College Dropout two years before the album comes out. Jeen-Yuhs was co-directed by Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah, better known as Coodie and Chike, who previously worked with West on his 2004 music video “Jesus Walks (Version 3)” and “Through the Wire.” A release date has yet to be revealed, though it’s slated to premiere in 2022. Eminem Is Actually Opening a Restaurant Called Mom’s Spaghetti
It’s actually happening. Eminem is opening a restaurant called Mom’s Spaghetti. The name, of course, comes from the opening verse of 2002’s “Lose Yourself,” where Eminem raps: “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy / There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.” Not the most appetizing inspiration for a restaurant, but the lyrics have become iconic. Mom’s Spaghetti is slated to open its doors on Wednesday, Sept. 29, in downtown Detroit and plans to serve “spaghetti, meatballs, spaghetti with meatballs, or no meatballs, and the s’ghetti sandwich” according to a phone line recording (call 313-888-8388 to get more details). WCSX-FM morning personality Big Jim O’Brien from “Big Jim’s House” joined Motor City rock legend Alice Cooper on Thursday, September 23 to unveil “Alice Cooper Court” at Eloise Asylum (30712 Michigan Avenue) in Westland, Michigan. “Alice Cooper Court” is the third street name created by WCSX honoring Motor City rock icons.
