Harry Styles Offers ‘The Notebook’-Inspired Dating Advice During a Concert: Watch

Harry Styles turned into a relationship guru on stage during his concert Wednesday night (Sept. 22) when a concertgoer held up a sign that read, “Should I text him?” The “Treat People With Kindness” pop star, who’s been back on the road for his rescheduled Love On Tour, paused his show in St. Paul, Minn., to advise the attendee on the best course of action while asking a very important (and on brand) question. “Is he nice to you?” he first asked, addressing the fine line between wondering if she should text at all or text him again. “In my opinion, if you should, this isn’t even a question. If we’re wondering if we’re playing games. If we’re wondering, ‘Should I text him? Should I not text him? I can...

Marilyn Manson Rape Accuser Refiles Complaint After Judge Dismisses Original Lawsuit

In the revived complaint obtained by Billboard, lawyers for Jane Doe write that she cannot be exact about when her memories of assault were repressed, but that they were at least repressed by the time she traveled to Australia on July 3, 2011. The trip was roughly a week after the accuser claims Manson raped her after she came to his home to return his key and effectively end the relationship that began consensually in February 2011.   The complaint adds that following the alleged assault, Manson allegedly threatened to kill Jane Doe, and said he would “bash her head in.” It goes on to claim that he stated he would “get away with it” because he was a “celebrity who had contacts with the police.”  A spokesperson for Manson said the shock rocker h...

Nirvana “Nevermind Baby” Wants His Naked Image Removed from 30th Anniversary Reissue

Thirty years ago today (September 24th), Nirvana changed the shape of rock to come with their magnum opus, Nevermind, which boasted one of the most iconic album covers of all time. The 1991 grunge landmark is getting an expansive reissue for the occasion, but Spencer Elden — who posed as the swimming naked baby that graces Nevermind‘s cover — wants to leave his genitalia out of the artwork. Last month, Elden sued Kurt Cobain’s estate, the surviving members of Nirvana, and other parties, accusing them of child exploitation. He claimed that his legal guardians didn’t formally consent to his image being used on the album cover. Legal experts have called the case “frivolous” and “offensive” to victims of child pornography. As part of the lawsuit, Elden requested that the image be rem...

Rebel Rock Festival Canceled Just Hours Before Gates Were Set to Open

Rebel Rock Festival, which was set to take place in Orlando, Florida, today (September 24th) through Sunday (September 26th), has been canceled just hours before it was set to begin. Unfortunately, severe weather leading up to the festival made the grounds unfit for fans. The fest was able to stage its “Taco Metal Party” last night, although headliner Volbeat was forced to drop out due to visa issues. However, there wasn’t enough time to make the rest of the grounds safe for the three-day main festival, which was set to feature Five Finger Death Punch, Machine Gun Kelly, Rise Against, Papa Roach, The Used, Philip Anselmo, Killswitch Engage, and many more acts. According to comments on the Rebel Rock Instagram page, many fans had just flown into Orlando and some were already in line for tod...

On New Track “Big Energy,” Lupe Fiasco Honors Late Comedian and Activist Dick Gregory

Following the premiere of Andre Gaines’ The One And Only Dick Gregory this past summer, Lupe Fiasco has shared a musical tribute to the comedian and civil rights activist. Alongside Gaines as its director, Kevin Hart and Lena Waithe worked on the project as executive producers. Red Hot Chili Peppers’Blood Sugar Sex Magik Turns 30: Artists Reflect on Its Legacy

“There’s the thing with the Chili Peppers: We put socks on our dicks, and we’re never going to outrun it,” Flea told GQ in 2019. “People are always going to think of that. I feel that ultimately the measure of art that we or I created, as good as it is, over time will stand for what it is. The core essence of it, the cerebral part of it — the emotional, spiritual, and physical — are things that will always survive.” With the Red Hot Chili Peppers, there’s always been that delicate balance of junk-swinging funk-rock jock and peace-promoting psychedelic muso. And no album better represents that symbiosis than the group’s 1991 blockbuster, Blood Sugar Sex Magik. While it may be forever remembered for a handful of massive singles (the pulverizing “Give It Away,” the pensive “Under the Bridge”)...

In the teaser, lead vocalist Anthony Kiedis and bassist Flea serve as co-anchors named Johnson Hammerswaddle and Todd the Squirrel, respectively. Drummer Chad Smith gives a report as weatherman Randy Raindrops before Frusciante, as himself, sits down with the anchor duo. “John, might we expect you and the fellas to play live anytime soon?” Flea’s character asks. “We’re going to do a tour starting in June 2022,” Frusciante cooly responds, setting the anchors into hysterics. Frusciante goes on to share that the U.S. leg ...
