‘Super Mario Bros.’ Animated Film Taps Chris Pratt to Voice Iconic Nintendo Character Mario
Nintendo, Illumination and Universal‘s Super Mario Bros. animated film will feature an all-star voice cast. Chris Pratt has recently been tapped to voice the iconic and titular character, Mario. Joining Pratt are Anya Taylor-Joy to voice Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan- Michael Key as Toad and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong. The film will be produced by Illumination founder Chris Meledandri and Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto. Directing the film is duo Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and penning the script is Matthew Fogel. Disgruntled Fan Crashes Car Into Club During P.O.D. Concert: Photos, Video
Two people were arrested earlier this week after they crashed a car into a Birmingham, Alabama club where P.O.D., FROM ASHES TO NEW and ALL GOOD THINGS were performing. According to the Birmingham Police Department, the suspects allegedly drove their car into the Zydeco Bar shortly before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday (September 21). After the crash, the suspects fled the scene before being taken into custody. Several people at the bar said that the driver was kicked out of the venue earlier in the night.
