KISS Manager Says Band’s Last-Ever Concert Will Now Take Place At The End Of 2022

KISS‘s longtime manager Doc McGhee says that he doesn’t know exactly when the final concert of the band’s “End Of The Road” tour will take place. KISS launched its farewell trek in January 2019 but was forced to put it on hold last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “End Of The Road” was originally scheduled to conclude on July 17, 2021 in New York City but has since been extended to 2022. The trek was announced in September 2018 following a KISS performance of the band’s classic song “Detroit Rock City” on “America’s Got Talent”. “We were supposed to end this year — actually, in July — but because of the COVID stopping us from doing the touring, it set us back a year and a half,” McGhee told Talking ...

80’s Metal Recycle Bin has uploaded an interview with Eddie Jackson in which the QUEENSRŸCHE bassist reflects on the departure of original vocalist Geoff Tate in 2012 and the addition of Geoff‘s replacement, former CRIMSON GLORY frontman Todd La Torre. “We were sort of at a crossroads,” Eddie said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET). “Things weren’t really working out too well for the four original members, and a decision had to be made. That decision was made. So here we are. “You would think that you’d have all your ducks lined up in a row, but we were right there at that crossroad wondering, ‘Okay, well, some decisions need to be made. What’s our backup plan?’ “Michael [Wilton, QUEENSRŸCHE guitarist] was working on...

Outside the arcade was a sign that read “Thank You for 28 Years” in Japanese. Staff wore the same message on shirts, while loudspeakers were heard playing “Hotaru no Hikari” set to the tune of “Auld Lang Syne,” a common song played when Japanese stores are closing. A countdown was held prior to the arcade’s official closure, after which Sega Ikebukuro Gigo’s manager gave a speech to the fans who have come out for this momentous occasion. To avoid any speculation, he reassured fans that C...

And I knew that what was missing in that movement was rappers, so I thought, ‘I’ll start rapping and go from there.'” Cli...
