Nita Strauss, the Los Angeles-based guitar shredder for the ALICE COOPER band, got to play Jason Becker‘s prototype Peavey “Numbers” guitar for one song during Cooper‘s concert last night (Tuesday, September 21) at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts. Earlier today, Nita shared an Instagram video of her playing the guitar, and she wrote in an accompanying message: “It’s taken me 12 hours to find the words. Former DARK TRANQUILLITY bassist Anders Iwers says that the decision to leave the band was both “easy” and “very hard.” Last month, it was announced that Iwers and drummer Anders Jivarp were exiting DARK TRANQUILLITY. Iwers joined DARK TRANQUILLITY in 2016 and played on the group’s last two albums, 2016’s “Atoma” and 2020’s “Moment”. With both LIFE OF AGONY and TYPE O NEGATIVE in his creative past, APHND mastermind Sal Abruscato has little to prove at this point, but over the course of a decade and three previous studio records, he has made the uniqueness of his vision more than apparent.
