Kanye West‘s DONDA is officially eligible for a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. According to Chart Data, Ye’s 10th studio album has sold more than 500,000 copies in the United States, achieving this feat less than three weeks after its August 29 release. The 27-track project earned a total of 309,000 equivalent album units in its first week and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and will mark his 10th gold record once the RIAA officially certifies it; all of West’s previous studio albums have at least gone gold. Earlier this week, Ja Rule and Fat Joe faced off in a VERZUZ battle in New York City. After the rap showdown, 50 Cent hopped on Instagram seemingly going after Ja Rule’s former label, Murder Inc. Firefighters helped country legend Reba McEntire out of the window of a historical Oklahoma building after a staircase collapsed between the second and third floors, sending one person to the hospital with minor injuries. On Wednesday, the 66-year-old tweeted that, “While my team and I were in Atoka, OK yesterday checking out an old historical building, a staircase collapsed. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.
