According to Fivio Foreign, Kanye West made his collaborators wear YEEZYs and DONDA merch while recording his latest album. During Power 106 FM Los Angeles’ The Liftoff/L.A. Leakers show, the rapper and songwriter outlined what it was like to work with ‘Ye in the studio for DONDA noting the strict dress code during sessions. “When we went to ’Ye’s shit he made us all wear like [YEEZYs]. We had the vest on, he made us all wear DONDA merch,” said Fivio. “I thought we were on DONDA timing, I guess to get us in [that mindset].” Adding that the uniforms comprised of DONDA shirts, cargo pants and YEEZY sneakers helped keep the ego of all artists involved in the project in check. A new album from Roddy Ricch could be just around the corner. The young artist took to his Instagram Stories to tease a project with the title LIVE LIFE FA$T. It will supposedly feature a total of 18 songs and clock in at exactly 51 minutes, with the opener titled “LIVE FAST INTRO.” Ricch did not reveal any additional information, however. The R&B songstress took to social media to reveal the record and also shared an accompanying visual for the announcement. “coming out of the rubble of It Was Good Until It Wasnt and into the light, on to the road,” she wrote on Twitter, continuing, “let’s have fun.” Blue Water Road follows 2020’s It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, which was named one of HYPEBEAST’s Best Albums of 2020.
