Green Day are celebrating their just-wrapped “Hella Mega Tour” with an official live version of the KISS classic “Rock and Roll All Nite.” During the summer trek with Weezer and Fall Out Boy, Green Day covered the iconic KISS tune at every one of the outing’s 21 shows. Today (September 10th), Billie Joe Armstrong and company released the live rendition, complete with a music video showing highlights from the tour. The “Hella Mega Tour,” which also featured Weezer and Fall Out Boy, wrapped up a few days ago in Seattle. Unlike KISS’ own current tour, during which Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons both contracted COVID-19, Green Day made it through unscathed. However, Fall Out Boy had to miss a few dates due to a positive test within the band’s camp. Advertisement Related Video Green Day are set ...
It takes a lot of talent to put a quarter-century-old song back on the charts, whether you’re one of the most established alt-rock bands working today or just an especially precocious 11-year-old. Future treated the crowd at Wireless Festival to a special surprise as he brought out Drake to perform some of their collabs live. The audience at London’s Crystal Palace Park experienced the pair perform their 2020 cut “Life is Good” and their latest partnership “Way 2 Sexy,” which originally appeared on Drizzy’s newest album, Certified Lover Boy. The OVO head also did a few of his solo cuts such as “Laugh Now, Cry Later,” with the screen behind him reading out, “Hey Wireless, The Boy is home.” The OXO tower in central London also welcomed Drake by changing its lights to “OVO.” Certified Lover Boy sold more than 500,000 units in less than a week — the first for any album this year — and is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The record also out-streamed DONDA and is set to ta...
