Adam McKay — who’s notable for directing films like Step Brothers, the Anchorman movies, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and more — is ready to unleash his newest body of work titled Don’t Look Up. The forthcoming film features a star-studded cast and includes industry icons such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Kid Cudi, Jonah Hill, Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, Meryl Streep, Matthew Perry and more. After being teased back in October, Netflix has now unveiled the film’s first trailer. The just-over-a-minute long clip reveals minuscule details about the motion picture’s plot, but it does show DiCaprio and Lawerence — both of whom play astronomers — that an asteroid is on it way to hit the Earth and wipe out all of human life as we know it. In the trailer, they’re bo...
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the trailer for Injustice — a new animated series that’s based off of the NetherRealm Studios video game ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ and the DC graphic novel Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One by Tom Taylor. The new teaser totals out to just over one minute and shows various scenes involving The Joker, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and more. It opens up with the Joker and Harley Quinn ambushing a pregnant Lois Lane, the latter of which strikes her head with a giant mallet and knocks her out cold. Later on in the clip, we find that Lane dies from this altercation, and this causes Superman — who’s played by Justin Hartley — to spiral out and attempt to take charge of the planet. In response to this, Batman — played by Anson Mount — takes it upon h...

“It’s from the opening lyric of our song ‘Worthy Girl,’” Kills Birds Bosnian-born lead singer Nina Ljeti tells us, of how they chose the name for their band. “It goes: this flower kills birds… And it’s literally about someone who once intentionally let a bird loose inside a crowded art gallery where it proceeded to get trampled by all the people…their reasoning was that it was for the ‘art’ but this was truly one of the cruelest things I’ve ever heard. That resonated with us—the tragedy of choosing to destroy something for aesthetic reasons.” Their sophomore album Married (out Nov. 12, recorded at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606) is the unapologetic zinger we’ve all been waiting for. From first listen, it’s clear the only thing they’re killing is any chance of anonymity. They’ll be touring through...
