At only 19, Chris Mardini is already causing quite a stir. After taking up guitar at the tender age of 10, the New York City native honed his chops playing Beatles covers at The Bitter End. With a range of influences from classic alt-rock, underground hip-hop and melodic singer-songwriters, it’s no wonder he resists being put inside a box. Rufus Publications has announced a new Ross Halfin book produced in collaboration with AEROSMITH guitarist Brad Whitford. “Listen To Whitford” features over 300 pages from Ross Halfin‘s extensive AEROSMITH collection, shooting the band on stage and informally behind the scenes. Whitford joined AEROSMITH in 1971 and has helped shape the band’s unique sound, making them one of the world’s most successful rock acts. Lil Wayne Teams With Topps for ‘Tha Carter IV’ 10th Anniversary Trading Cards

Lil Wayne has partnered with The Topps Company for a trading card pack that celebrates the 10th anniversary of Tha Carter IV. Marking Wezzy and Topps’ first ever collaboration, each pack includes eight cards out of a 20 card checklist. Fans can look out for two special autograph cards — the red variant limited to four pieces and the gold limited to only one — while the base card parallels are offered in “Rainbow Foil,” which is limited to 10, in blue that is limited to five, the red that is limited to four and the gold that is one of one. Each card features a photo of Wayne and the release date, title and either the featured artist or producer of a specific Tha Carter IV song. Following the announcement of the top 10 NBA Player Ratings, 2K Games has revealed a one-and-a-half-minute official NBA 2k22 gameplay trailer based on footage from the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S editions of the game. The trailer features cover athlete Luka Doncic as well as Lamelo Ball, this year’s number one draft pick Cade Cunningham, WNBA star Candace Parker, and other NBA stars reflecting next season’s roster changes. Details gathered from the video include new face scans and in-game animations including crowd dives, blocks, dunks and jumpers. The graphics look crisp per usual, as 2K continues to pursue life-like gameplay.
