Dwayne Johnson Reacts To Viral Alabama Doppelgänger

Just last week, a police officer from Alabama who bears a striking resemblance to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson went viral across social media. Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields of Alabama’s Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has taken the Internet by storm and has now been called as The Rock’s doppelgänger since he has a similar look and build as the professional wrestler. The police officer seems to be in good spirits with the running joke and welcomes the playful interactions with his community. Of course, The Rock has caught wind of the comparison and took to Twitter to share his thoughts. Johnson wrote, “Oh sh*t! Wow. Guy on the left is way cooler. Stay safe brother and thank you for your service.” The Rock also invited Fields to one day have a drink of his own Teremana with him. Take a...

Although the show won’t premiere until 2022, Gunn revealed to Variety that the story will focus on “where Peacemaker came from,” adding, “So we get to see Peacemaker with his father, who’s played by Robert Patrick, where he came from, what he’s done, what that means to him, and where he’s going after all of this. Because he’s not an...

Less than a week ahead of the release for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the film’s lead and titular hero Simu Liu ran an AMA on Reddit, where he called his co-star Tony Leung a “legendary” actor. Speaking to fans through the platform, Liu praised the decorated Hong Kong actor for his calm poise and subtle yet expressive style. “Like a master class in acting every single day,” Liu answered when a fan asked how it was like to work with Leung. “He is every bit as legendary as the legends say. What makes Tony so incredibly watchable is his stillness, his ability to convey such emotional color with a single glance. For a newbie like me coming to set full of nervous energy, he really grounded me and forced me to be still and present.” He went on to joke that “I just love that m...

Disney “Doesn’t Want” Frank Oz to Do The Muppets Anymore

It’s hard to imagine someone not falling in love with — or at least being charmed by — The Muppets in all of their tender, felted magic. But apparently, loving the puppet doesn’t always equate to loving the puppeteer. According to Frank Oz — the beloved puppeteer originally behind Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Animal, and iconic Sesame Street characters like Cookie Monster and Bert — Disney “doesn’t want” to work with him anymore. Oz hasn’t been involved with The Muppets or The Jim Henson Company since 2007. Fans long assumed that he retired in favor of more acting roles in films like Knives Out, but in a new interview with The Guardian, the actor revealed that he didn’t put the job on hold by choice. “I’d love to do The Muppets again, but Disney doesn’t want me, and Sesame Street...

He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Over the break [from touring], I realized that I was on the couch doing nothing.
