R. Kelly Trial: New Witness Testifies About ‘Punishments,’ STD Infection at 17

An invite from Kelly to audition for him as a singer followed. She met up with him a few days after the show, initially telling him she was 18 despite being 17. During the “audition,” Jane Doe # 5 says Kelly sexually pursued her, eventually coercing her into receiving oral sex, and promised to “take care of [her] for life.” After this initial one-on-one, Kelly’s assistant, Cheryl Mack, allegedly booked a number of plane tickets for Jane Doe #5, despite knowing her age, to visit Kelly throughout his tour stops. When they first had sex, it was without protection and the R&B singer did not disclose his STD. She soon began staying at his home in Atlanta, where he continued laying down rules, demanding she get permission from Kelly or assistant before...

TED NUGENT: Why Masks Don’t Work

Ted Nugent has once again said that masks don’t really work. The outspoken conservative rocker, who battled COVID-19 four months ago, made those comments during his YouTube livestream earlier today (Monday, August 23). “When someone tells you ‘wear a mask,’ and the overwhelming evidence from the overwhelming health professionals are they don’t work,” he said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET). “You know your breath comes through the mask. Because every hunting season, in the beautiful winter wonderland of Michigan, it’s freezing — it’s below freezing, below zero — when I’m in my tree stand in the sacred Michigan swamps. And I’ve got these heavy masks on that are supposed to stop the cold from getting into your teeth. But y...

Mayim Bialik Will Guest Host ‘Jeopardy!’ Following Mike Richards’ Departure

Mayim Bialik will be the first guest host of Jeopardy! following Mike Richards‘ fast departure from the position last week, Sony Pictures Television announced on Monday. The Big Bang Theory actress is confirmed to film three weeks’ worth of episodes once production on the daytime show continues this week. Bialik was one of several guest hosts who occupied two-week hosting stints during the last season, following the death of Alex Trebek, who hosted the show for 37 seasons. Trebek passed away in November at the age of 80 after a battle with cancer. Prior to Richards’ exit, Sony originally announced that Bialik would assume an ongoing emcee role for Jeopardy! prime-time and spinoff series. In the updated release, the company revealed that other guest hosts would come after Bia...

Olivia Rodrigo Shows How ‘Brutal’ It Is To Be A Teen In New Video

Olivia Rodrigo surprise-dropped a new music video on Monday (August 23) showing how “Brutal” it is to be a teenager and wondering where her fucking teenage dream is, after all. Accompanied by an angsty grunge instrumental, the video introduces a choose-your-player selection channeling Adobe Flash web games from the dawn of the millennium. The cursor clicks on Rodrigo dressed in a pastel blue ballet outfit and matching wig. As she tries to perform en pointe, she falls over, horrified, as the other dancers dance perfectly around her. The video then shows a montage of Rodrigo singing about how “so sick of 17” she is and playing different roles: a gossipy reporter, a stressed out commercial star, a bitter high schooler, and a celebrity crying on Instagram Live. Rodrigo and her “two real friend...

10 Best Governors Ball Performances of All Time: Watch

The Governors Ball Music Festival is set to return next month. Like most festivals, last year’s event, colloquially referred to as Gov Ball, was forced to cancel due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although there has been some concern regarding the recent upsurge in cases in the wake of new COVID variants, the success and relative safety of last month’s Lollapalooza all but solidifies the New York City festival’s return. Adding to the hype is the fact that 2021 marks the festival’s 10th anniversary. Since debuting in 2011, Gov Ball has quickly become one of the nation’s most talked about festivals, known for drawing in a wide array of artists spanning multiple generations and genres. Over the years, the Gov Ball demographic has shifted to a primarily younger crowd, so it makes sense that this ye...

Billy Milligan’s Other Personality Did It in Trailer for Netflix True Crime Doc Monsters Inside: Watch

Dissociative identity disorder — formerly known as multiple personality disorder — goes on trial in the new trailer for the Netflix true crime documentary Monsters Inside: The 24 Faces of Billy Milligan. The film premieres September 22nd. Milligan’s case captured the national imagination when he was imprisoned in 1975 for serial rape and armed robbery. Rather than typical protestations of innocence, Milligan and his psychiatrist pleaded guilty by reason of insanity, with the wrinkle that the accused couldn’t remember his crimes because they were committed by one of his other personalities. At least one of those purported alter egos makes an appearance in the new trailer. “It still bugs me when they call me Billy,” a smirking Milligan says. “But I don’t say much. I don’t say anyth...
