What happened in Vegas didn’t quite stay in Vegas, but it did make a hasty return. Lady Gaga has announced a new Las Vegas residency, which begins in October on the site of her first Las Vegas residency at the Park MGM. Gaga first decamped for the comfortable beds and steady checks of a residency in 2018. Her initial “Jazz & Piano” run was so successful, it was extended into 2020. Her next round of “Jazz & Piano” performances will kick off on October 14th and run through October 31st. Given that closing night is also Halloween, you have to imagine that Mother Monster has some spooky tricks up her sleeve. Pre-sale begins tomorrow for those who receive a special code at gagavegas.com. The general public will be able to book their seats starting Saturday, August 28th at 1:00 p.m. ET/1...

The housemates took turns to drop two names they want to be evicted in the diary room. The names for possible evictions were Peace, JMK, Pere, Maria, Sammie and Queen. The Interrupters have a decade together and three albums under their belt and are a musical force. Aimee Interrupter and the Bivona brothers, Kevin, Justin, and Jesse, met in 2009 while on tour with Sugar Ray and Dirty Heads. Aimee was a solo act and The Bivona Brothers were then with The Transplants. Following the tour, Aimee and Kevin started writing together. Soon thereafter Kevin’s twin brothers were brought in to form the band that would eventually be The Interrupters. Oddly enough, The Interrupters’ name was created after Aimee met the Bivonas’ mother, and said, “Your mom is an interrupter, isn’t she?” Hopefully, that fence was mended! The Interrupters’ three album releases between 2014-2018 were produced by Tim Timebomb, of Rancid fame, and released by his label, Hellcat records. In...
In 2006, R&B group Cherish released “Do It To It,” which topped the charts for over five months and became a defining song of the noughties. Fast-forward to Friday, when Orlando-based DJ and producer ACRAZE released his highly anticipated rework via Thrive Music—and it’s on track to be the biggest crossover hit of the summer. In a victorious moment a few weeks ago, DJ Snake brought ACRAZE on stage at Brooklyn Mirage and hailed the track as “the song of the summer” before dropping it for a rowdy crowd. With a pulsing bassline and head-bopping drums, the tune is addictive. The beat syncs up perfectly with the catchy and nostalgic vocal hook, making it impossible not to sing and dance along. It’s one of those rare songs that compels the whole crowd to bounce and groove. Way bef...
Over the past year or so, Marc Rebillet quickly became a household name. But before Loop Daddy was an international music festival headliner, he released wonky electronic beats and hip-hop instrumentals under a secretive alias. While some super-fans have known about the side project—dubbed leae—for some time now, after browsing some of Rebillet’s near decade-old tracks, we felt it was time to unearth them. As you can hear from the track below, leae’s music is a far cry from Rebillet’s current songs about hormone therapy and grandma-devouring flamingos. It mostly comprises introspective, instrumental solo tracks aside from a few collabs with hip-hop artists. If anything, the sound is a microcosm of not his production chops, but also his growth...
