Shambhala 2022 Dates Have Been Revealed
After the unfortunate postponement of the famed Canadian music festival two years in a row, Shambhala is set to return to the Salmo River Ranch next summer. The 23rd edition of the family-run festival was initially slated for July 2020, but due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns the gathering was rescheduled for late August 2021. Unfortunately, the event was then shelved for a second time earlier this year. Alas, thousands of attendees will be welcomed to return to the festival for what may very well be the greatest “Farmily” reunion of all-time from July 22nd to 25th, 2022. The new full-time music channel is presented by a number of TikTok creators, DJs, artists, and more where they will play and discuss trending music on TikTok. Man Dies After Falling off Balcony at Dead and Company Concert
A man died Friday after falling off a balcony at New York’s Citi Field during a Dead and Company concert. A police source told the New York Daily News that the man “attempted a body flip, fell, and landed on the balcony below.” He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The man, who was in his 40s and from Brooklyn, was possibly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the fall, police say. SOULFLY Plays First Show With FEAR FACTORY Guitarist DINO CAZARES (Video)
FEAR FACTORY‘s Dino Cazares is playing guitar for SOULFLY on the Max Cavalera-fronted band’s current U.S. tour which kicked off last night (Friday, August 20) at Launchpad in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The 33-date trek will make additional stops in New York, Chicago and Austin before concluding in Tempe, Arizona on September 25. The final date will be a family celebration as it will include performances by INCITE, GO AHEAD AND DIE and HEALING MAGIC. Joining the band for select dates are NIVIANE and SUICIDE PUPPETS.
