KISS Book Vegas Residency, Confirm David Lee Roth No Longer Supporting 2021 Tour
KISS’ farewell outing will include a 12-date Las Vegas residency, the legendary band has just announced. In addition, Gene Simmons has confirmed that David Lee Roth will no longer provide support on their 2021 US tour. As part of the band’s farewell run, KISS will play a series of shows at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino. The residency kicks off with a three-date New Year’s run (December 29th and 31st, and January 1st). The band will then return to the same venue for nine more dates spanning from January 19th through February 5th. Bob Dylan Denies Claim That He Sexually Abused a 12-Year-Old in 1965
A new lawsuit alleges that Bob Dylan groomed and sexually abused a 12-year-old girl in 1965. A spokesperson for Dylan tells Consequence, “The 56-year-old claim is untrue and will be vigorously defended.” According to court documents viewed by Page Six and TMZ, a 68-year-old woman identified as J.C. alleges that “Bob Dylan, over a six-week period between April and May of 1965 befriended and established an emotional connection with the plaintiff,” thereby “lower[ing] [J.C.’s] inhibitions with the object of sexually abusing her, which he did, coupled with the provision of drugs, alcohol and threats of physical violence, leaving her emotionally scarred and psychologically damaged to this day.” The events allegedly took place at the Chelsea Hotel in New York. Korn’s Jonathan Davis Tests Positive for COVID-19, Band Postpones and Cancels Tour Dates
Korn singer Jonathan Davis has tested positive for COVID-19, forcing the nu-metal band to postpone or cancel a number of shows on their current US tour with Staind. Over the weekend, Korn announced that their Saturday show in Scranton, Pennsylvania, was postponed due to a positive COVID case within the Korn camp. On Monday (August 16th), Korn revealed that the person who contracted COVID was Davis. As a result, Korn have moved six shows, including the Scranton gig, to late September and early October. Two concerts — August 24th in Darien Center, New York, and August 25th in Syracuse, New York — have been canceled outright due to scheduling conflicts.
