Briana’s Fiancé Javi Makes Teen Mom 2 Reunion Debut

Briana was hesitant to document her romance with Javi on this season of Teen Mom 2, but the mother of two did eventually film with her “new guy” as she visited him for some ink (he’s a tattoo artist). And now the engaged couple can check another MTV milestone off the list: his first reunion. “I do it for her — this is part of her life,” Javi, who is also a dad, told co-hosts Dr. Drew and Nessa about why he opted to appear with his partner on stage. “This isn’t really me.” Brittany also joined the future husband and wife and added, “If she likes it, I love it. Whatever makes her happy.” But Nova and Stella’s aunt did have a warning for Javi: “You’re cool, but just don’t f*ck it up.” Nessa asked i...

Challenge Rebound: Can Kaycee Take Spies, Lies And Allies By Storm?

There’s a chance for redemption on the horizon for Challenge competitor Kaycee. So the question is, can the standout bounce back to reach her full potential on the upcoming Spies, Lies and Allies? Kaycee, who just missed the big money on Total Madness, quickly proved on Double Agents that she was the woman to beat. Not only did she and Leroy rack up the most wins out of any team on Season 36, but Kaycee also took out the hulking Theresa in the most exciting elimination round of the season. But Kaycee, who eventually exchanged her partner Leroy for her Big Brother ally Fessy right before the finale, literally saw her gold-star performance come crashing down during a two-mile race along the Icelandic coastline. In an instant, and not long after the race began, Kaycee slipped, fell backward a...

As Tony Bennett celebrates his 95th birthday today and prepares to kick off his and Lady Gaga’s two-night “One Last Time” performances this evening, the pair announced Tuesday (August 3) that their new, second duet album, Love for Sale, will drop October 1. The “Rain on Me” singer took to Instagram to post animated visuals of the album cover. The jazz legend holds a sketchbook that depicts a profile sketch of Gaga, while the pop icon is leaning down fixing Bennett’s bowtie. “The day we released ‘Cheek To Cheek’ in 2014, Tony Bennett called me and asked me if I wanted to record another album with him, this time celebrating the songs of Cole Porter,” Gaga captioned. “I’m always honored to sing with my friend Tony, so of course I accepted the invitation.” Along with the album announcement, th...

Bad Bunny and Aventura Release Dreamy Bachata Track “Volví”

Bad Bunny and Dominican-American band Aventura have released their new song “Volví,” produced by Alex Killer. Alongside the band’s frontman, Romeo Santos, the track sees Bunny straying from his typical trap stylings and incorporating the Latin genre of bachata into his sound. The song arrives with a visual featuring Bunny and Aventura partying in a ritzy mansion and, as the crowd turns up, a sweet storyline of a lone couple dancing, finally alone together by the end of the night. Bunny announced the collaboration on Instagram yesterday with stills from the video and a photo of him with the members of Aventura, which, in addition to Romeo, is made up of Lenny Santos, Henry Santos and Max Santos. Romeo Santos also posted about the song, signifying that it marks the end of an era for the band...

Jack Harlow Recruits Pooh Shiesty for New Track “SUVs (Black on Black)”

Rap music’s unexpected rising star Jack Harlow has teamed up with Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty for a new track. Titled “SUVs (Black on Black), the song marks the first collaboration between the two rappers. The artists’ impeccable, yet flexible flows are showcased as they go back and forth rapping about status and the success they have amassed thus far. Specifically, the song illustrates where both artists started and how they are now in a position to call the shots. “Lotta people back at home, they tryna make it out the dirt/Don’t stop pushin’, used to catch Z’s on the couch cushions’/Now I call the shots like I’m John Wooden (John Wooden)/In the kitchen with my jewelry in the pot cookin’/Walkin’ through the mall, and they can’t stop lookin’ (I ain’t lyin’).” Recently, Harlow joined Lil Na...

Tom DeLonge Is Still Optimistic About the Padres’ Chances This Season

Earlier this year when we polled musicians about their predictions for the 2021 MLB season, few were as colorful (which honestly, really shouldn’t be all that surprising) as ex-Blink-182 and current Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge. He had high hopes for his beloved San Diego Padres, who boasted one of the strongest rosters and best young players in baseball coming into the spring. As the season progressed, the Padres are in a dogfight with the San Francisco Giants and DeLonge’s hated Los Angeles Dodgers for the NL West division crown and the two subsequent Wild Card spots. However, as DeLonge notes, he’d rather win the division than play one of those two teams in a winner-take-all Wild Card. Early on the same morning when he was slated to take the Lollapalooza stage (and a day a...

Dinosaur Jr. Bring the Noise at NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert: Watch

Due to the pandemic, NPR has been hosting its beloved Tiny Desk Concert series wherever artists want to film their special contribution. Lots of people have replicated Bob Boilen’s famed office space by sitting behind their own desks, playing acoustic songs, or even recreating a miniature set in their apartment. Dinosaur Jr. are the latest group to film a Tiny Desk (Home) Concert, and they recreated the magic of that iconic NPR room for it by way of dozens of cute tchotchkes and other pieces of pop-culture iconography. Holed up inside an empty Shea Theater in Turners Falls, Massachusetts, Dinosaur Jr. enlisted a few camera operators and lighting assistants to help drag all of their tiny toys onstage. There’s a tiny wooden desk with a miniature laptop propped atop it, a giant stuffed animal...

FINNEAS on Making Music with a “Foundation of Unconditional Love Underneath Everything”: Exclusive

Give Grammy-winning producer and songwriter FINNEAS a call to ask him about a project, and he’ll offer his very best advice — but keep in mind, he ultimately wants creators to follow their own unique paths. “There’s not a right way or a wrong way to have a career in music,” he tells Consequence via Zoom. “You can be creative and you don’t have to worry about doing something wrong.” At just 23 years old, FINNEAS is proof of that exact sentiment: his non-traditional navigation through the world of music has already yielded him eight Grammy awards and made him one of the most sought-after producers and songwriters in the pop world. His hitmaking collaborations include work with Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, and James Blake. Now, in partnership with Fender, he’s taking calls on the Fender x FI...

Stone Pony? Bruce Springsteen’s Daughter Jessica Fails to Qualify for Individual Olympic Equestrian Final

Bruce Springsteen met his future wife and E Street Band member Patti Scialfa at the rock venue The Stone Pony. Perhaps it was an inauspicious start for their daughter Jessica, who nearly 40 years later failed to make the finals of the equestrian individual jumping event at the Tokyo Olympics. Jessica was selected for team USA last month, and her Olympic journey isn’t over yet– she’ll compete in team jumping this Friday, August 6th. As ESPN reports, her hopes for solo gold fell apart at the 11th jump of a 14-obstacle course, when her horse, Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, knocked down a railing. Her score was good enough to keep her on the bubble for another hour, until she was finally eliminated from the competition. “All in all, I’m thrilled with the round, and I’m excited for t...
