Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi ‘Snowpiercer’ Confirmed for Season 4
Snowpiercer has officially been renewed for a fourth season by TNT. The announcement comes as the third season wraps up production, staying on track with the previous renewals which have come ahead of the premier of each prior season. Co-heads of the scripted original programming, Sam Linsky and Adrienne O’Riain comments on the post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama series renewal stating, “Snowpiercer has been an incredibly successful series for us that continues to capture the imagination of viewers, grow audience and maintain strong ratings. All of our seasons embark on an emotional, unexpected ride and the well-plotted storylines will continue to evolve and remain relevant to audiences. Taika Waititi Confirms Live-Action Adaptation of ‘Flash Gordon’
Taika Waititi‘s adaptation of Flash Gordon is officially set to be developed as a live-action film, though the movie was originally meant to be an animation. Producer John Davis recently spoke to Collider regarding the shift of the film becoming live-action, “Taika is writing it. It was a movie that was a huge influence on him growing up. It is one of his favorite movies. He initially said to me, ‘Let’s do it animated.’ I said, ‘Okay.’ Then we got into it and started developing it and he said, ‘No, let’s do it live-action.’ I said, ‘Even better.’” He adds, “We’ve been through the development process, not the writing process, but he’s laid out in great detail the characters, the movie, the way in, what it’s about, the tone, all of that stuff, right?
